Larry hit over 40% from 3 half of his seasons in the league, including 5 of his last 7. Why don't you look up his stats first, after you've embarrassed yourself.

Also, I don't fully agree that it is harder to shoot a better percentage with so many attempts. Shooters are constantly looking for a rhythm, when you're taking 13 a game, that is ideal for remaining in a rhythm. This is why the hack a Dwight and Shaq didn't work when brought to the extreme. It gave them a chance to get into a rhythm. In many instances, I think it is harder to shoot 40% shooting 1 3-pointer a game, than it is shooting 13. It's all about getting warmed up for the truly talented shooters.

If we're talking strictly capes, I'd rather have this guy:

Certainly, his percentage would fluctuate from 40 much more if he takes less shots. Just purely from a statistical standpoint it can be less or lower. Now, factoring in his shots being streaky and not being able to establish a rhythm, more variation exists. But truly, if no one has been able to put up this kind of number in the history of pro basketball yet that is already in itself very amazing.

If he can play great d and do one or two other things well, I won't mind hm taking 10 3s a game while playing for the Rockets because 40% from 3 with this number of shots is just as good as you can really hope from an elite scorer.
