The Lakers have Kobe, Shaq, and then who else? No supporting cast, depth, experience, or chemistry. Okay, maybe they have a little experience . . .
You can like him or hate him ..... ..... but friends, Shaq-Daddy is the only NBA'er ..... the single spot .... the numero uno ...... the exception ..... the most glaring example that makes the rule ..... the MAN man .... ..... in the league today that demands ... literally demands ..... an opposing team to change its strategy (regardless of what that is) to accomadate his game. He is the most dominating player in the game, and barring anything short of unloading our entire future ... i.e. - trading Francis and Mobley (and believe me if they are going anywhere they are going together) .... then I would trade for Shaq in a heart beat. No questions asked .... . Now that we got that out of our collective systems, remember this: It will never happen.
First let me say that SHAQ isn't going anywhere. I seem to remember there being some kind of bickering going on in LA last year. Having SHAQ on your team automatically makes your team a contender. It doesn't matter if you agree or disagree there is NO ONE on God's green Earth that can guard this man. Also if the Lakers were going to trade SHAQ they would not trade him to someone in the West. He would hurt them at every chance including the playoffs. IF he was traded to the Rockets it would probably cost you guys Francis, Mobley, Griff, and MoT. I think you would still be a contender this year however it would kill your future considering the fact that SHAQ himself says he ain't playing past the age of 32. It is nice to dream though.
