Trotter in Houston ???

    I watched the whole show, and he said something along the lines of "I want to be here. Now it is up to my agent and the Texans for me to stay...blah blah blah. It is good being home. I want to be a Texan."

    So in other words, I don't know if much of anything has changed, as he might not be able to get the money he wants from us.

    ric. on sports radio 610.. on thursday.. they were saying something about having to wait until a certain date to renegotiate those deals as you mentioned.. so hopefully it will get done

    Looks like the Redskins are going to make a hardcore pitch to Trotter.

    They have about 1.5 million in cap space, are renegotiating Stephen Davis' 9 year 90 million dollar contract to free up around 1 or so million dollars this year, and reworking Marco Colemans huge to deal to aleviate another million or so. Davis is willing, and if Coleman isnt he'll just be cut, freeing up much of the cap space anyhow.

    That gives them around 4 million to play with in an offer to Trotter. Not that this is definate, but anything is a possibility when Dan Snyder is involved.

    Whoa, Jessie Armstead, LaVarr Arrington, and Jeremiah Trotter. Now that would be the Leagues best Line Backing corp.
