It's supposed to make landfall as a Cat 2. This is not good news for the area in Mexico where it is supposed to hit...it is one of poorest areas. I read online that people aren't that concerned about the hurricane due to lack of coverage. Wow.

Also, Brownsville might will get serious flooding due to their poor drainage system.

In other words, the temperatures are so much bearable here!

News said we only got .25" in Round Rock yesterday, but it sure seemed like a lot more than that. Could use some more either way...

I live in RR, too, and we haven't gotten near as much as I'd like the last few days. Here's hoping we get a good (safe) soaking the next few days.
