I am sorry to say you cannot have both. one reason for tmac to pass was he's really cold. if he scored 26+, it's quite possible he would have 7- assists.

Mac should have way more triple doubles than 3 in his whole freaking career? How many does Bron have just this year?

No, 9-33 is. You know who that was from? The guy that everyone wants to trade T-Mac for; Kobe.

Guys, the streak scorers of the league (Kobe, Arenas, T-mac and AI especially) they have really hot and really cold games. Get used to it. At least T-Mac had 12 assists, 10 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks to go with it.

Exactly nitro. thats what seperates tracy from the rest. if he has a bad shooting night, he will make up for it by having triple doule type nots. you stop tracy from scoring, he'll kill you by getting others involved. as gundy, gorge karl and magic johonson have all correctly pointedout, tracy is the second best playmaker in the game only to steve nash.

Hakeem Olajuwon, March 29, 1990, Houston vs. Milwaukee; 18 points, 16 rebounds, 10 assists, 11 blocks

yeah, jason kidd is only next to tmac.

the reason why tmac is making good plays is because he's being doubleteamed. there's always one open guy.

Yes he is a better playmaker then kidd. i'll take the word of the greatest playmaker of alltime like magic ervin jhonson then a hater like you. why would gundy, or gorge karl gotta to gain by putting tracy over kidd?. maybe because he is better?.

Also the double team argument is false. he is a great playmaker because he has incridible court vision and passing ability. also being the most unselfish superstar in the game helps. only a YOF like you cant understand that. clown.

Congratulations to McGrady. He didn't have his shot falling tonight, so he made up for it with a triple double. Outstanding!

Uhhh ... try Iverson dude. He scored 51 was 18 of 26 from the field, had 2 assists, 2 rebounds and oh yeah ... the Nuggies STILL lost to the Lake show in Denver 110-105. The Nugs had 13 assists and the Lakers had 25. Bottom line no continuity.

Kobe played the closer role in Mile High with 23 and 6 in closing minutes.

You're basing off ONE game. T-Mac #3 in scoring before tonites game. Shooting over 45%. That hasn't happened since he's been here. When the cast starts knocking down the shots you'll see how selfish T-Mac is. He's all about getting the W!

Expand your field because, T-Mac is NOT the worst ballhog in the world!

You're clueless. T-Mac has to be doubled because no one for an entire game can guard him one on one. Watch a few Rocket games and form a brain before opening your mouth and inserting your foot.

When T-Mac is out, this team struggles. Why? Because, even if T-Mac isn't knocking down shots. He facilitates the offense and gets his teammates easier shots and better looks at the basket.

Good God, how r****ded are you?

Thanks nitpicker. You pointed out his not so good shooting instead of being happy for the guy's triple double and the Rockets winning the game. You didn't even give T-Mac credit. Instead you gave the credit to the role players for stepping up. At least he more than made up for it with his assists & rebounds. Add in his two steals and two blocks. About the role players "stepping up", they should thank T-Mac for his playmaking and giving them good shots. I don't think they stepped up. I think they just played their roles and if the role players do their role every night, T-Mac would be racking up triple doubles the rest of the season.

Agreed. Kudos to the T-Mac attack! You know his last triple double in 2003 vs the Nets, he scored 46 points! Wow now that's a triple double!

He starts going 30/12/10 consistently uh oh ... how are you gonna guard us now! :p

T-Mac's shot selection was putrid. It's like he needs to jack up bad shots to try to get back into a rhythm. That's exactly the opposite of what he should do. He should attack the basket, get himself to the free throw line, and get into a shooting rhythm that way. Sigh.

But he was sensational in pretty much every other facet of the game. For anyone who says we don't have anyone who can throw a decent entry pass, I submit this game as evidence to the contrary. T-Mac's entry passes to Bonzi in the first half were a thing of beauty.

Not to mention he shuts down whoever he's defending.
