Les fans didn't know that Les thought about moving the team to Kentucky
but then again Les fans aren't real Rockets fans

they are just stupid newbs who make up fiction and don't know a thing about Rockets history

they should go steal trophies and move to Florida

What have we seen this summer?

We traded for a guy who is more expensive and has a longer contract.

 

This makes no sense he just signed Capela last year and reupped Paul.T

If he was cheap he never would have traded for Paul in the 1st place or resigned him.

As a fan of the team you want your owner to go for it.

You want an owner that will not be afraid to get drexler after just won the 1st title.

Then turn around and get barkley then pippen, glen rice etc.every year go for it. I love that.

He might have been a crappy person and its fair to argue that. Most of us could give two f*ucks about the guy.. But as far as going for it and trying his list is so long anyone arguing against it looks silly.

Its like saying OJ sucked at running back because he kills people/is a bad dude.

Jury still a bit out on tilmafia but les tried and as a fan thats all i can ask.

Fielding a winning team and being under the luxury tax is a sport that morey probably loves most. Having austin rivers contract within pennies of the tax probably created the biggest chuckle. We all agree that iggy isnt worth 40 million and likely not the missing piece.

 

Tillman is a better owner than les..... and the jury is still out on him.

But so many of you talk about going into the luxury tax all the time but some seem to remember les making a move at the deadline every year to get under that same luxury tax.

Les also sold the team right before he was going to have to pay cp3 a deal Tillman inherited and honored.

Les was cheap as can be.

Tillman imo hasn’t shown he’s cheap the stadium looks nicer the food is upgraded.

He’s spent money on Capela and traded for Westbrook instead of trying to get smaller contracts with cp3 deal to get even further under the tax.

We’ll see what happens but I already like Tillman actually being in the press and atleast talking about winning.

Dude is a Houstonian he def wants to win and I respect that.

Les bounced out and made a fortune 85m to 2.2b to be exact.

I think the only time les was really happy besides winning the chips his first two years was when we had Yao Ming and business opens up for him in China.

Rockets have a very strong team I’m sure we’ll make a move by the trade deadline to get another wing.

But as it’s stands you can’t go wrong with harden Russ Gordon Clint pj rivers house as your top 7 with value guys like green chandler and possibly Bennett.

this team has more than enough talent to win the title. Tillman going into the tax doesn’t change that.

 

Totally agree about the luck thing. No one ever wants to admit how lucky they’ve been. We all want to take 100% credit for our hard work. And hard work is great and commendable.

But luck is huge. Luck is getting your franchise star not when Golden Statan is at their apex. Luck is Paul’s hammy going snap.

Luck is a thing, and few billionaires are super-anxious to admit it. And honestly, probably even fewer of us are interested in hearing them admit it.

The bootstraps mythology plays so much better on both sides than the Oops, I tripped over my own dick into a B version.

Les didn't treat Rudy T with respect.

When Rudy T went with the Lakers and left for health reasons and later resigned Phil Jackson,
Jerry Bus continued to pay Rudy T and kept him on as a consultant.

Jerry Bus treated people like people.

 

Rudy T is the biggest reason why Florida Leslie can eat the corn out of my ****.

 

Florida has 4 NBA championship trophies
Two from the Miami Heat
And Two from the Rockets that Les stole
