For the record, I am a UT fan and grad, currently at UH for grad school, and I was pulling for the Ags in this one tonight. It looked like RC was calling plays in the 4th quarter. Fran needs to grow some cojones.

    Very excited for the Coogs...

But we need to keep up the intensity vs SMU and Memphis.

The proverbial 12th man ended up killing aggy on that one.

    I'll be at the Coogs v SMU game...nice stadium...I can't wait...Loud and Proud...

Watching the game last night, some Aggie was a bit pre-mature in his TD celebration...They'd be at there own 30 yrd. line and whenever the RB got the ball, he'd yell Touchdown!!!, really really loud...

A&M should have won...very conservative play calling...

Considering they got the first down anyways I dont think the 12th man killed them.

Hate all you want but the truth of the matter is the Texas is #3 in the Coach's Poll http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/football/usatpoll.htm

and #4 in the AP Poll
    http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/football/appoll.htm

We would be #3 in the AP poll if not for Kirk Bohl's of the Austin American-Statesmen who has Louivilles at #2.

The quicker the haters begin accepting the possabilityTexas might be defending its National Championship the less likely an ulcer will develop this X-Mas.

whats funny about your statement is that this post was intended as a State of Texas verse State of Oklahoma thread. the aggys were the ones to start bashing UT.
Maybe Fran was more concerned about little debbies than calling a game :D

You get over it. My post said I don't like the way the fans who didn't go to school there act. There is nothing wrong with cheering for a school in which you didn't attend, I never said that did I? I said the way the fans ACT. Did I strike a nerve? Something must have hit home. hmmmm

I graduated from UH and am proud of it. I'm not an aggie nor a longhorn.

No, but I went to Tech. And I will happily beat anyone here who has a problem with it.

You beat my team? I beat you.

I consider it a fair tradeoff.

As a Horn fan I have to admit I dislike the whole upside down Horn thing. It is out of control. When teams and their fans do that I think run up the score on their asses. Seems like far too many fans now hate UT more than they like themselves and their traditions. Now I didn't see SC doing that in the Rose Bowl, one of the few opponents in recent memory (I remember Buckeye fans doing that last year before we cut their heart out)--I guess it is sign of being proud of themselves.

I mean it would be one thing to treat Satan's Minions like that, e.g., Dukies basketball or Nuter Dame/NBC football, but Horn's sports, what gives?

Even funnier is when you see it during games that the Lonhorns aren't even playing in. i.e OU vs. ATM.

Guess we must be doing something right.
