For you younger folks, Gary Larson retired in 1995, which is why you may have not seen this comic strip, which was in a newspaper. Something that you young folks also may not be aware of.

That one is my favorite too.

Anyone a fan of John Callahan? Google him.

Here's a small commentary: "“John is the funniest man on four wheels.” –ROBIN WILLIAMS “Screw the critics. I love Callahan. His cartoons are like tongue-kissing your grandma. If it’s so bad, why does it feel so good?” –DAVE ATTELL, Writer and host of Comedy Central’s Insomniac with Dave AttellFrom the warped mind of one of America’s most twisted cartoonists comes The Best of Callahan–a wildly satirical, wickedly funny collection of favorite cartoons, of fans and author alike. Warning: This book is not for the timid, the easily offended, the politically correct, or your grandparents. It’s for people who like their humor dark . . . about issues Mom and Dad told us were impolite to talk about in public. If you find offense, you shouldn’t have been looking! We’re not the boss of you. . . ."

There's an insect collection, where the dead bugs are mounted with pins through the bodies. Two bugs are walking through it, when one says to the other, "God, I hate walking through this place at night!"

    Edit: found it:

Surrender's image wasn't showing up when I posted mine, otherwise I wouldn't have doubled up (That's right. I read the WHOLE thread before I post).

My favorite is the one that shows the side view mirror with a huge eye and the message "objects in the mirror are closer than they appear".

I was looking for a picture to post, but couldn't find one. I'll keep searching.

I thought you were going somewhere with that along the lines of:

Dr. Frasier Crane: "Well, it's like the Far Side cartoon of the cows, where one cow yells 'CAR!' and they all get back down on all fours. "
Woody: ''I don't get 'The Far Side.' ''
Cliff rolled his eyes at Norm in condescending pleasure and started to explain the joke: "Well, you see, Woody, that's showing how cows act when humans are not around".
Woody snatched the paper back and snapped, ''I mean my hometown newspaper doesn't carry 'The Far Side'! But thanks for making me feel like a 1-year-old!''

I loved CHEERs. I have the FIRST SEASON on DVD and would like to have the rest soon. :D
