I saw her tweet mentioned on a Sports Illustrated article I was reading, so I thought maybe it was legit. I wonder if any team will give Bauer another shot at the MLB? I know he’s been exonerated of any legal crimes. But the fact remains that he gets off beating up women, regardless of if his partners are into it themselves. I personally doubt the Astros ever pursue a person entangled in any sort of domestic abuse allegations, especially after the backlash they got after the Roberto Osuna fiasco. I hope they don’t go after Bauer. With Verlander, Blanco, and Valdez the Astros have a strong 3 top of the rotation group. And Garcia and McCullers appear to be a month away. Hader, Abreu, Seth Martinez, Montero, have all settled down nicely. So far the only main bullpen guy who is still struggling is Ryan Pressley. I think they have enough to sneak into the playoffs as they are without going for a guy like Bauer that oozes toxicity.
