I also heard there's a possibility that if Phoenix mistakenly does well because of him, they will buy him out to lose more games.

Futher, I heard that if either your rumored scenario or mine happens, Silver will block Ariza coming here as schneaky salary cap circumventure ... ie, he'll make a rule no serious contenders of the Warriors can lose a Free Agent to big bucks then sign him back the same year as a buyout player.

The fact that Trevor signed for 15M makes it easy to expect him being bought if the Suns will suck (which is what i expect), even though i'm not one of those who are sure the Suns will buy him out instead of looking to trade him, i'm not sure about how many contenders can trade for that contract...
maybe the Rockets with Anderson :D

That would really be some sort of new math...let him go to get paid by the scrubby Suns just to resign him with the MLE after the deadline...i can only dream lol.

I don't think Sarver does buyouts.

When's the last time a Suns player was bought out? Seems like we've been waiting for Tyson to be bought out for the last 17 years.

Last year,,,one of the biggest. but that was due to needing to unload Bledsoe

Basically, you could say they bought out 1yr of Bledsoe and got a FRP, too.

Congrats to Trevor Ariza. The national media has transformed him into Scottie Pippen since he left the Rockets. He got better as a player and $15 million by joining the Phoenix Suns. Rox fans ignore your lying eyes! Trevor was the real MVP last year.

If Ariza were bought out (he won’t be), why the confidence he would go back to the Rockets? I sure wouldn’t count on that or even bet on it.... sometimes things run there course.... Ariza would likely go to LAL.

He was always a Laker. Just like Tmac, when Ariza couldn't handle the pressure of being the guy it exploded in Toronto.

Trevor Ariza would've been out of the league if he choked out Larry Brown. Trevor was tortured by Larry repeatedly saying he's a bad 3 point shooter, back then he was,
Trevor worked on his 3 pt shots, improved quite a bit, still streaky.
Larry was right about, Trevor Looked bad in GS series in Game 7, 0 - 9 from 3, 0 - 12 from the field, Larry Brown must have been laughing at Trevor brick shots, chucking 3 pointers.

Trevor what ever is said about you please thank the Rockets for making you relevant and wealthier. You and most fans know that your payday is nothing more than a Rocket rub. Enjoy it. In all seriousness, I wish you and your family well, thank you.
