Where do you think Hassell will go in the draft? I think he is a very good prospect but draft camps and private workouts will most likely determine where he is picked. He is a good scorer, rebounds well, and I think that he could be the next Bonzi Wells type of player, coming from such a small college. Here's his profile:

I would like the Rockets to take a look at him at #23 if they keep all 3 picks. I think he'll be better than Terence Morris but Morris would probably fit better in the Rocket's system.

personally i would want hassell if the rockets get in their heads they need a backup 2. which i dont think they do. but a bunch of people for some reason have us picking forte. not a good option... hassell is more athletic, a senior, and alot more versatile w/ height. good skillz too

What happens at 13 will decide their course of action at 18 and 23.

Suppose Loren Woods is still on the board at 13 and the Rockets think he will be a quality center? They pick him. So now your priority is small forward and back up shooting guard. If 18 rolls around what do you do? you need a small forward but is there one left on the board that you like more than Morris at this point? If not then you check out the shooting guards. What if Forte is still there? Then at 18 he is probably the best player left on the board and will still give you a shot at Morris with pick 23.

What if the Rockets think the remaining big men on the board that they have targeted will be available at the 18th or 23 spot? Then maybe you have a chance to select Joe Johnson, Richard Jefferson or Pau Gasol.
Now at pick 18 you go for Ken Johnson or Brendan Haywood. Which leaves pick 23 to try and get a back up shooting guard or take a shot at Ousman Cisse or someone else that might be worth a shot.

So you see it is really to hard to predict what the Rox will do with picks 18 and 23 untill we have a better idea with what they will do at 13.

we will probobly take ken johnson or morris with that pick. we have both guard spots filled nicely. there may not be any playing time for a rookie guard on this team, unless there is an injury.

Your right its not a good comparison to hughes. unlike hughes hassell actually knows how to shoot and make a few shots.

I think Morris has a better all around game then Hassel does and will fit rockets better.
