Actually, it's not legally irrelevant. It could be the foundation for a manslaughter charge.

Nope, not that I know of. I was born in Texas. My roots go back to England on one side and no one has a clue on the other side. I could be part sheepdog for all I know.

Calm down brah, I was with you at the begining of all this, wanting more evidence and all, but after reading many of your posts you come off as a tad bit racist and a hot head.

Thank God Zimmer "man" is a lot closer to the one percent than we thought.

As a poor person I was offended to think of "him" as one of us.

So now it has been established that Zimmerman is a liar.

How can a jury believe anything he says?

According to this website the money came from people through his website:

That is a lot of money that came to him so quickly because that sight couldn't have been up that long.

The sight has been up since like the first week. This is such old news. I could have sworn they already brought him back in and the judge decided it didn't matter and his bond remained the same.

Bond isn't supposed to be about money, it's about keeping the public safe. These were donations to a paypal account that was established specificly for his defense, to pay lawyers.

Will this hurt GZ's defense? I don't think so. The prosecution will argue the money was donations meant only to pay lawyers. Although, I would expect many lawyers would be willing to take his case pro bono.

It doesn't change the facts of the case. He could be charged with perjury though, right?

Lying about the passport looks a lot worse than lying about the $$$.

Agreed. Unless the judge viewed him him as a flight risk or a danger, there should be no reason to revoke his bond.

Lying to the U.S. government about losing his passport so that he could receive a second passport and then giving the prosecution/judge the "stolen" passport while hiding the new passport makes him a flight risk.

That is true, the passport is the only thing I would be concerned with. The money thing should be a complete non-issue and it's just people searching for reasons to put him behind bars. It alone should not change the original bail verdict.

The passport issue is a big big deal though, I read it, but forgot about it when I posted. That makes him a huge flight risk, even if he hadn't of said he lost it, if he didn't have one, to get one two weeks after you've been charged with murder. Actually 2 weeks after the murder, I don't think he was even charged by then. Regardless, the passport is the only issue here.

You would think anyone pending trial would be inelligable for a passport. If he hadn't been charged yet I guess they wouldn't know any better.

I knew that the 30 or so thousand GZ needed for living expenses/ etc. was going to be a problem.

It looks like all that money that BigTexxx/HighTop donated to Zimmerman won't be as helpful as they hoped.

Seriously though, how could anyone want to support this man? Yes, he deserves a fair trial, but it has gotten to the point that people are celebrating his idiotic choices.
