Most definitely not. I think most people recognize they are linked with Travis at the top of the blame list. Plus they have the deeper pockets. Either way almost all the suits filed so far mention Travis and Live Nation as well.

So yesterday was my friend's birthday; needless to say, it was very hard seeing all the posts on Facebook honoring him and talking to the family

It's blatantly obvious that the general public has absolutely no idea how the legal system works. It's also blatantly obvious that the general public absolutely believes they know exactly how the legal system works.

Whether or not he does, there's multiple videos of him not stopping the concert, pointing to ambulances and saying what's that, giving a half assed crocodile teared apology. He's definitely culpable

Believe me, I agree he appears culpable from all available information, but if one expects him to admit liability at this point in the process they are naive.

I still can’t get over that scrub staring at a lifeless body while singing his shitty auto tune.

Not defending him at all, but people respond to extreme circumstances in different ways. Scott just turned on his cruise control. George Bush kept reading kids stories during 9/11. Watch the people react in videos of sudden violence or disaster. Some people just turn around and keep walking like nothing happened.

Interesting you brought up the Bush situation. I remember that well since I was at home, packing, about to leave for College in a week. I didn’t think about Bush’s reaction and why he reacted or had the non reaction he did at the time but now that you mentioned it and giving it some thought it’s a pretty cool, calm and collected reaction IMO.

It’s not like he was on the plane and in a position to pull some Air Force One get off my plane type of **** and it’s not like freaking out and sending an emergency tweet or amber alert or making a special call was an option or going to help stop what was happening. Stay cool, keep the kids calm and deal with it when you can. Travis? He was like 10 feet away and he could’ve controlled the situation way better on multiple occasions that day.

They went well over capacity for basically a parking lot
He should have held this festival at a large and wide open venue like a park
Houston has huge areas where you have this event

he played at ACL in Austin and nobody died

This dude is a sociopath is you’ve seen his other antics. I don’t believe he was in shock, he really just didn’t see the extent of the damage and thought his show could go on

Michael Jackson played much bigger shows and nobody got killed.
they wanted to maximize attendance to make money.

also they should have kicked out ALL of the people who jumped the fence and didn't have tickets.

    https://abc13.com/astroworld-tragedy-festival-deaths-travis-scott-concert-victims-cause-of/11348897/

On Thursday, the Harris County Medical Examiner's office ruled all victims died of "compression asphyxia." According to the report, Danish Baig's cause of death was asphyxiation but with a contributory cause of combined toxic effects of cocaine, methamphetamine and ethanol.

The victims' deaths were ruled as an accident. As a result of the findings, Shahani's family released the following statement:

"The medical examiner's findings confirm Bharti's family's worst fears," Lassiter said. "Their beloved daughter's last living moments were surely marked with suffering, panic, and terror. It's a horrific, inescapable image that no parent should have to endure. But that is the sad reality for the Shahanis and the nine other families that received this terrible news."

Tony Buzbee, who is representing Acosta, also addressed the findings, stating the report confirmed what the family knew - "that (Acosta) was crushed and killed that night by the crowd, through no fault of his own."

Buzbee also added that Acosta's blood had no intoxicants or other like substances.

"Now that we have received the official results, I want to say to our police chief: Shame on you. Shame on you for perpetuating and giving credence to a silly rumor that people were being injected at the concert," Buzbee's statement read.
