In a Linkin Park concert, they were in the middle of the song, and they made it stop the music, because he saw someone in a mosh pit, falling, and he stopped the music, so they could get the guy up, and even said: "the most important thing is the fans safety, so when you see someone falling down you get him up"

So the artist CAN pause the show, for a bit until the ambulance or until people gets well, here it is the video.

@RasaqBoi - what do you have to say about this?

The music paused around 9:30 p.m. as an ambulance made its way into the crowd. It was around that time that Mr. Anjum got his first call for cardiac arrest. It took 10 minutes to get through the crowd to the patient, he said.

As the music was stopped, two men who appeared to be part of Mr. Scott’s entourage approached him onstage, according to a video of the concert that has since been taken down. Mr. Scott shooed them away.

“Y’all know what you came to do,” he said, turning to the crowd, before the music started up again. Mr. Scott asked the tens of thousands in front of him to make “the ground shake.”

The words sent a bolt of energy to the already frenzied fans, Mr. Sayadian said.

Front page of Reddit is basically overflowing with threads either trashing Travis Scott or threads about performers from venues that stop their shows to help out members of the viewing audience.

    Travis Scott is indefensible.

@RasaqBoi here is a video where singers stopped the show, in the middle of the show, for fan safety, including people falling in a mosh pit, Nirvana stopping the show, because a guy was sexual assualting a girl, so, the artist can paused the show, and in all people cheered because the artists cared for the fans, and nobody cause a riot because they paused the show.

I saw the same thing in that video. He dismissed the two guys that walked up to him.

He keeps touching his forehead. Emotions and the attempt to sympathize seem fake.

My thoughts are that Travis Scott is not criminally responsible for what happened, but definitely bears a lot responsibility and judgement from the public's eye. As others have shown through videos, a performer carries a lot of power in being able to settle down a crowd. Travis could have stopped the show temporarily and asked his fans to please let paramedics go through and allow those in need to get some help. That's something that Travis should have absolutely done. Maybe he didn't know specifically what was actually happening, but if an ambulance is riding through the middle of your concert, there is a very good chance that something serious is happening and you need to settle down your fans.

It was a bad judgment call on his end and his name should be dragged through the mud to help him understand his role in all of this. If he would of calmed down his crowd, it is likely that there are less injuries, less deaths, etc. Instead he continued on. I get it, he is a performer, he was in the moment, but he can't be that oblivious to a ambulance lights in his concert.

From a civil standpoint, meaning lawsuits, I don't necessarily believe he bears responsibility on this end as well. That's really going to lie more on the managers, live nation, venue, because someone has to pay for this **** up.

The dude was so under the influence, he probably thought the ambulance cart was something the crowd snuck in/stole.

And even if sued, it'll be his commercial policy covering him, then his individual umbrella (if he acts like others with wealth), then his personal lawyers will fight it out with the insurance lawyers for who pays and how much if it comes down to that. There's a lot of layer of protection for Scott's arguable negligence.

His future income will take a hit even in just massive increased cost for shows.

Is Htown gonna have to rely on Lizzo now for an annual festival?
