Selvin is a quality back, the only problem that he had while at UT was his chronic fumbling problem while spliting time with either C. Benson then J. Charles. Big durable back who should rack up some yardage in Shanahan's system. Shanahan has a knack for finding unheralded running backs from later rounds of the draft and turning them into league-leading rushers behind small-but-powerful offensive lines. Terrell Davis, Mike Anderson, Clinton Portis, Olandis Gary, Reuben Droughns, and Tatum Bell all had at least one 1,000-yard season for the Broncos over the past 10 years.

As far as Henry he's already in federal court attempting to block the NFL from testing his "B-sample" needed to confirm the positive test. What an idiot though, could be out $12 mil in signing bonuses if not more if the positive test and suspension stick.

Who is the bigger idiot: Henry or Michael Vick?

Forget the moral invocations associated the Vick disaster and just think for a minute about which athlete is just more blatently stupid.

As geeimsobored just mentioned Henry was moments away from being released from the NFL's substance abuse program. Due to this suspension he'll undoubtedly be forced to fork over a ton of guaranteed money. Guaranteed money he absolutely needs given his legal troubles with the child support issues and all. Add to that he's currently one of the league's leading rushers in a defining season.

Then there's the genius known as Michael Vick. We all know what he did and how foolish his actions were. Foolish to the sum of at least $100 million....waived BYE BYE!

Priest only played one year with ricky. priest was hurt a lot, and at the time ut was recruiting some "supposed" studs. but when he was healthy, he played.

Vick is going to prison, being sued for $22M by his former team, and will have a difficult time finding a team that wants him when he gets out. He also happened to be one of the highest played athletes in the world.

Travis Henry is the starting RB for the Broncos, got caught smoking weed, will sit a year, and will backup and eventually start for a team next season.

 

The thing that i find more interesting about Henry is that he has 9 kids by 9 different women and he didnt want to pay child support.

Should be interesting to see how Selvin does with more carries. He didn't play well his Senior year (but neither did the entire running game) but I thought he would at least get drafted. He was a good kid at UT and I hope he does well.

Henry is gonna keep playing this year. He wants a witness to do the testing and the NFL isnt allowing it, so if he does get suspended, it will probably not be for a little while.
