Well im going from the 10 of October - the 15th on vacation..... Im currently in Malaysia doing an internship and was wondering if anybody had some insights on what not to miss in BANGKOK..... Im staying in the Grand Sukhumvit by Sofitel which is in the SUKHUMVIT area.

The things i already know im going to check out are:

    1) the grand palace
    2) the reclining buddha
    3) a Miay Tai fight night

Hope anyone else that has gone or know about stuff in thailand can help me out??

The teak palace and summer palace are very nice.

Well it really depends what you are looking for I actually am leaving in a town called Nilai outside of KL doing my internship in company that deals with petrol stations ...but Most of the night life is around the area of BUTING BINTANG and the Golden Triangle in KL, these two places are very near each other. I recommend eating one night in KL Tower (i think its called Merdeka Tower or something like that) its next to the Petronas Towers and it is as high or almost as high as them and you get a great view of the city while the restaurant revolves around. Also remember this month is RAMADAN and Malaysia is a muslim country.

And to the rest of you thanks for the great input if it was up to you guys this would be my agenda:

    1) Thai massage
    2) Get some ass
    3) Search for ladies of the night
    4) Buy lots of ass
    5) look for their adams apple

    thanks again

    haha

That's a good list, but you may want to change the order around some.

Go to Chatuchak Market. It's suppose to be some huge flea market and it's only open on weekends.
