Check the net, New Braunfels has a good tourism-related site. You can drink all you want on the river, but if you're under 21, plan on getting an MIP and watching the cops pour out all your beer as the people rafting by laugh at you unmercifully. South Padre is a bit more "minor-friendly".
Cause road trips rock and it's fun to see them in other stadiums. I'm taking one this summer to see them in St. Louis and at Wrigley.
If you go do "Pole's trip," you can fly into Seattle for $200 roundtrip on Southwest. From there, you'd rent a car, drive across the border, go up to Vancouver (just a few hours from Seattle), and then take the Sea to Sky Highway up towards Whistler. One of the prettiest drives you can imagine. The exchange rate makes Canadian vacations pretty nice. And you can smoke all the cuban cigars you want. I'll be in BC in late June/early July, but I'm going to go further north this time--maybe even up into Alaska--and do some fishing on the coast. I wonder if I'll come back home this time?
Pole - Aside from the activities (fishing, golf, hiking, rafting?), what is the night-life like up there? A lot of partying? Any good bars? Or is it all family fun? Just curious, thanks.
If your headed to NW Canada at the beginning of August, try here... www.kaslojazzfest.com. It's awesome.
Awesome! In August I'll be in BC for 4 days fishing on the Fraser River. Here's some pics of where I'll be staying: http://www.fraserriverlodge.com/english/photo_lodge.html and hopefully I'll be bringing home a few of these:
Whistler's a good party town. Lots of Americans up here too with the exchange rate and a drinking age of 19.
Dude, you didn't have to post. Instead, out of nowhere, you said that I deserved to be in a war zone. Act like a b****, be treated like a b****. So, shut the **** up, b****.
