Flying into Belize City but staying in Hopkins. My gf's family rented out a house for the whole family (locals and some flying from US as well).

    No not black. Mexican. :(

I went for a day during a cruise. Did some Mayan ruins. Can't remember what they were called.

One of the coolest things I've ever seen happened that day.

The road into the ruins is like 14 miles long and very narrow. Some houses were very run down and some were nice summer homes. On the way in, we saw nothing abnormal. On the way out, we passed an old house with a clothesline. Except on their clothesline, was not clothes - there was a freshly skinned jaguar hide hanging.

It was one of the first times I can ever remember thinking, "man, I'm far from home! ", while travelling.

You don't need to know how to swim to snorkel

You have life jackets and flippers
