Michael Bay in negotiations to direct a 4th film. I know some people hated the live-action films and hate Bay even more, but I dug 'em (1 and 3). And despite his shortcomings as a director, he knows how to film action and knows how to make big blockbusters. So a return to his "universe" wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. Still, with the trilogy complete, and none of the human actors coming back, I was looking forward to a 4-5 year lull and reboot with a new director and new vision. An animated movie would have been pretty awesome. Or a live action film that borrows from the '84 movie. At the very least, movies that are centered around the robots with humans as only tertiary characters. But of course Hollywood being who they are, they're not gonna let a cash cow like this sit. So expect more of the same. http://nymag.com/daily/entertainment/2011/12/michael-bay-will-direct-fourth-transformers-film.html
I didn't mind 1, I don't even remember what happened in 2 or 3. Michael Bay movies are similar to a hot girl who has zero personality, nice to talk to for a few minutes but gets boring really fast. Some people can enjoy the eye candy and that's good enough for them, while others need more.
Marky Mark and Funky Autobots..... http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/JoshWildingNewsAndReviews/news/?a=69841 funny how it started as a rumor, gave Bay the idea to run with it, and now he's cast....
I hate Funky Bunch as much as that asshat Bay. Will download, then make a gazilion copies and distribute them all over Houston for free.
I got these movies for free on my phone a while back. Part 1 and 2.... I got halfway into 1, and about 10mins into 2... and yeah, that's pretty much all I have to say about this series.
Michael Bay is a legend. We don't know it yet, but once he's gone... the world will realize how truly great he was. Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, Bad Boys, Transformers.... need I say moar?
