I will miss Steve's heart. Especially when he shoved Amare Stoudamire for dunking on Yao!:D

I think they're already a playoff contender in the East. Francis and Mobley can go back to the pre Van Gundy stage and score 50 points on any given night. Cato could possibly be an All Star in the East.

I wasn't sure what you meant at first but I see it now.

Did anyone save the original picture cause they're smiling now?

Edit - ......Well not Cato. I guess they couldn't find a picture with all of them smiling

Saying they didn't practice fastnreaks alot

I think they played it the right way for their new fans. They know they can't match McGrady's skills but the knock on him is/was his lack of intensity (that may have been because he was playing for a losing team). So they come in promising the fans an increased intensity and energy level. That's exciting for the Orlando fans and I think they can deliver on that promise. I also think they can deliver a playoff spot and if G-Hill plays some and Howard begins to realize his potential they could advance past the first round in the East. McGrady may have been able to do the same with Howard, Hill and Nelson but the three amigos gurantees a better supply of fresh troops.

Good for our guys, good for Orlando but F*ck Weaselbrod.

(And I think they had gone about as far as they could here, we needed fresh excitment; a new paradigm; if you don't choke on buzz words)

First of all, I'm going to miss Steve's hustle on the offensive side and his heart. I also appreciate the way he handled the trade in a classy way. But did anyone else find the following quote interesting or humorous :

Sure does. I can't believe they didn't learn something that fundamental in college. Unreal.

you play the way you practice, no matter what level. I would like to hear what JVG thinks about the fastbreak comment though.

"We didn't ask them to come here and have a press conference," Weisbrod said. "But if they want to, we're certainly happy to sit down and listen." :D

Am I the only one who finds it funny when a grown man uses the word "blossom"?

If you play the way you practice then neither Rudy T nor JVG must've thought it was important to run a fast break - because this offense sucked running it under both. If true, why do you suppose that is true?

Cato's expression cracks me up. He truly looks like he has no clue whats going on. I'll really miss Cat. I think Steve will be fine wherever he goes.

    I wish the guys well.

How many Orlando games will be aired in Houston (besides the games the Rockets play them)?

Under Rudy T their offense scored 97 points a game in 00-01. The only problem the team had was adjusting to playing with a low post player and that would have improved over time. But their offense didn't always suck.

I seriously doubt that Van Gundy didn't stress "running the fastbreak". I think Steve is just trying to justify his point per game decrease last season. It seems to me that everytime the Rockets got a rebound and passed the ball to Steve, Van gundy was going crazy trying to get Steve to push the ball up the court. All Steve would do is walk or skip the ball up court.

Steve: "I'm not saying you have to be ra-ra-ra for 48 minutes..."
that's a nice one, too. i guess that would be a bit too much to ask of a player getting paid millions of dollars to play a 48 minute game of basketball.
