Please, no hating on TSO. It really is an offshoot of Savatage (also worth listening to), and there is a lot of musical talent and creativity. This is your symphonic metal Christmas. Each album has a storyline as well. And the original religious meaning of Christmas is alive and well in the lyrics (which I think is cool, at least ). I wish I could see this show. I'll have to plan to next year.
o m g. I knew you had eclectic tastes in music, but also a Savatage fan? Im impressed(that and a dollar gets you a coffee these days) imad, ehh...it was a shot in the dark...I thought maybe you might be familiar with them adn therefore it would have given you a glimpse of the style of rock used in TSO's music. and yea...some of those pub pics are kinda cheesy, but the music is SOLID.
TSO performances are mainly music and light shows, which I enjoyed last year. They'll sing a few "stories" of Christmas too. I hadn't heard of Savatage before, so I downloaded a few songs......and, not really my type of thing.
