People Love Jimmy butler but He went from 2017 Chicago 2017-(2018-2019) Minn (2018-2019) Philly 2019- Miami and he was a POS toward Wiggins and KAT in Minn Then he wasn't much better in Philly but now he is beloveD? Rocket River
Question - *IF* Harden continued to play at his regular level . . . .. would the Rockets have *EVER* traded him? Rocket River
5/20 fg in game 6 vs Clippers in 2015 (won because of Brewer and Smith late-game heroics) 7/19 fg in game 1 vs Warriors in 2016 only had 17 pts (team blown out by 26 pts) 4/13 fg in game 4 vs Warriors in 2016 only had 18 pts (team blown out by 27 pts) 3/17 fg in game 2 vs Spurs in 2017 only had 13 pts (team blown out by 25 pts) 2/11 fg in game 6 vs Spurs in 2017 only had 10 pts (team blown out by 39 pts) 5/21 fg in game 5 vs Warriors in 2018 only had 19 pts (won by 4 but not because of him) 2/11 fg in game 4 vs Lakers in 2020 21 points but took 20 free throws to get it (team lost by 10 pts)
River, I loved James until he quit on the team - same for Tmac..... I have love for any player who played with integrity and didn't cheat the game.......I hate on those that quit. DD
What are you babbling about now? I've been b****in about Hardens jerkoff attitude since Khloe... and ALL the while I've complained about this mental midget, I have NEVER refereed to him as a 'scrub' or denied his obvious talent... Try again... lol
Lol @jiggyfly thinking/actually believing the only time Harden ever choked was against the Spurs. Truly oblivious and zero awareness. There’s a lot more missing too. I know he definitely struggled and disappeared at least a few times in the Jazz series over the 2 series we played them. I remember specifically in game 5 the first time around when CP3 dropped 40 and eliminated the Jazz. Harden struggled all game and was nowhere to be found in the 4th quarter. Game 7 against Thunder. Sure he saved face by making that block but damn… did anybody aside from his die hard fans actually feel good about him or where the team was headed? He shot 4-15 from the field, 1-9 from 3 and had 4 turnovers. (Hey those numbers are similar to when he played ‘hurt’ against the Bucks last year. Weird). Meanwhile he let Lugentz Dort a rookie who averaged 6.8 ppg pop off for 30. This the same guy that also started to fade in that series as OKC got closer and the pressure was building. The game thread comments and general sentiment was to hope to build a big enough lead in games 6 and 7 by halftime and hold for dear life cause we knew Harden wasn’t showing up in the second half. Harden lovers call me a hater. I’m just keeping it really for you fools. I’ve been trying for the last 6 years. Instead of hating me hate the fact that you can’t win a Championship with a ball dominant SG masquerading as a PG that has a pathetic 2.1 Assist/TO ratio because he refuses to move his ass and play off the ball. Also, 33% from 3 while attempting as many as he does isn’t gonna cut it either.
That’s a lie! That never happened. Just a bitter Nets executive making stuff up since he’s gone now. Harden would never lose a game of 1 on 1. He’s the worlds GOAT offensive player ever. He’d smoke Jordan, Wilt and Hakeem back to back to back. Signed, Harden Onlyfans.
I think certainly so. Maybe not as quickly but yes - there's no reason to keep a player who has no intention of staying with you as a free agent - they are a diminishing asset so you want to maximize value.
did you watch 2013 rockets-okc series 2-4?.... this nobody mentions save me probably because okc was favorites, but in retrospect harden choked that series, we had them on ropes and he lost 2 games in the clutch with his signature unforced live turnovers allowing 39 year old fisher to stop him in single coverage... he d just run into fisher and would surrender him the ball few times in a row in 2 different games in the clutch...it was totally and 100% unprovoked turnovers... it was weird but i didnt think much of that at the time, but in retrospect that was a classic harden losing the series after playing well and beating expectations up to that point...
Yeah this doesnt sound like the media is trying to bury him at all. I saw one interview where a reporter told him that he was mad, they used rumor quotes that fat boy windhurst made up LOL Media can do anything they want now and simps fall for it. Sports Media is becoming Fox news. Keep in mind that Harden declined an extension as early as last summer lol. Once he heard Kyrie wasnt going to take the shots he stopped saying he wanted to extend. Jimmy maybe fat but he aint dumb. Funny that im here defending Harden but I was known as a Harden hater just last year lol
Of course I remember very well. We held on for dear life and barely survived cause our role players were slightly better and stepped up. Westbrook also outplayed Harden in that series. Fax. Do you remember we also got to have a stress free series against the Wolves because they were imploding, Butler had just got back from a meniscus tear and Capela decided to go Wilt on em. Also against the Mavs, Harden was was awesome in that series but we are fortunate to have won game 3 by 2 points and take a commanding 3-0 series lead and also I remember Rondo decided to lash out and cause some locker room drama at the perfect time for us. I was worried about that series going 2-1 and then 2-2.
If it takes ten years for the question to occur to you, maybe you shouldn't write like you're the guy with the answers.
Amazing, Berry Tramel has now completed the three-peat of making enemies of the entire OKC Thunder Big 3. He was the guy who coined Kevin Durant as "Mr. Unreliable" during his MVP season. https://www.si.com/nba/2014/05/01/oklahoman-apologizes-calling-thunders-kevin-durant-mr-unreliable He was also the one who had a longstanding feud with Russ in OKC. And then he wrote this first person, self-aggrandizing column about his relationship with Westbrook. https://www.oklahoman.com/article/5627448/westbrooks-next-question-act-is-about-control At the end of the day, I'm not a huge fan of when a columnist intentionally antagonizes the subject they're covering just for the sake of a story. It's hard to feel like they're being objective, and how much of their criticism is genuine, or just for clicks.
Move this to the NBA thread. Dude left our team. Glad he's gone and wish people would stop putting him in this thread.
Dwight wanted post touches, wouldn't set picks. Paul fell off a cliff (managed to scrape his way back, hindsight is 20/20). Westbrook was nonsense. KD is hurt. Kyrie is a world class headcase. Tramel: iS jAmEs HaRdEn ThE pRoBlEm? Tick Tock JOEL. Like his teams haven't had problems?
