Is Harden a bit of a joke? Yes
Is he selfish and a prima donna? Looks like it
Do his antics reflect poorly on his character? Yup

Is he still a god damn great basketball player? Yes he is.

Say what you will, but he wasn't going to win a ring with the Nets, not with part-time Kyrie and oft-injured Durant with a bunch of scrubs there. They played 16 games together which says something about the health of their big 3.

In Philly, he has a much better team now and the biggest star since Chris Paul. And he has something to prove. Philly is instantly the biggest challenge to the Buck's throne.

Morey’s whole crew “quit “ on Houston. D’Antoni, Morey, Tad Brown, Harden, Westbrook, PJ Tucker, all quit , asked to be traded or asked to spend time with their family. And all are in the NBA elsewhere.

That's what people do when a new management comes in and mucks things up. They quit and work elsewhere.

The issue with Harden was how poorly he handled it.

But don't you have to keep that same energy with all of them though? They all did the same thing. They left this situation and got away from Tilly. It doesn't matter how it was worded. They all quit their jobs.

    Bullshit.

Name one game other than the San Antonio game he disappeared in?

What do you call what kyrie is doing?

Did he quit on them last year when he was playing with a grade 2 hamstring pull and Durant and Kyrie were in and out of the lineup?

I believe I read that as part of the deal Harden agreed to opt in for the last year of his contract.

There's just a few people left that can't see Harden for what he is as a basketball player.

He so damn good with the ball in his hands but brings little value as an off ball player or on the defensive end.

If Embiid is willing to let Harden run the show offensively they could be really, really good. I think it may work because Embiid actually plays basketball the right way. He's not selfish, he sets picks and does the little things on top of being super talented.

Embid is probably the best fit as a super star teammate that Harden has had.

I think KD was the ideal superstar next to Harden. He's a legendary shooter, which creates more space for Harden's driving lanes. He's also a great secondary ballhandler and playmaker. Embiid is primarily a post scorer, which Harden has never played with before. Does Embiid get fewer post isos now or will Harden play more off ball? I'm 100% sure they will figure it out.

Oh I agree, but Harden QUIT on the court....

Those guys quit a shitty owner.......which if that is in the calculus for Harden I understand too.

I mean Morey played Tillman like nobodies business, time with his family bullshit......lol.....Tillman was still paying him should have forced a Non-compete on him.....but Morey knew that Tillman is cheap and said....I am gonna let you out of the guaranteed money - but I want to be free if something comes up in a couple of years......

    LOL- couple of days rather.

Sure - that's what people do with a sinking ship. They get off the ship. I don't get way people are upset with them for doing that.

The reason I say embiid is probably the best fit next to him that he's had is because Harden likes to run pick and roll with big men.
Yeah KD and CP3 are great players, but I'm talking specifically for the way Harden likes to play.

Embiid/Harden pick and roll/pop is going to be deadly...

Just like every other star teammate, I think Harden and embiid will both need to adjust their games a little, but I think this will be a seamless fit.

When they are in together that PNR game gonna be nasty..When Embiid is on by himself without James he can get all the post touches he wants...When James in on by himself he can ISO and do his Harden thing...

The only guy in Houston he was paired with worth his salt was the first year Paul other then that garbage like dumbrick and Dwight who was just as passive aggressive. Trash scrubs like lin and Ty Lawson don’t even count

While I won't dismiss James has played a part in everything
It's not like he was with the League's best citizens

Dwight? - Kobe hated him!!! I like Dwight but it's not like he has stuck long term anywhere else in the league since leaving.
CP3 - Clipper land was not Happy land.
Kyrie - He hated playing with LeBron and left - Need we even talk about his time in Boston?

This Narrative that Harden is hard to get along with .. . can equally be spent as HE TOLERATES NO BULLSH!T

I mean narrative is everything . .. Jimmy Butler all but child abused the Young Timberpups and Young 76ers
but now. . .he is simply a Master Competitor that pushes for the best .. . rather than an abusive A-hole. . .
    it's all narrative

MilSap was pouting and wanted out
    Griffin is . .. Griffin

The lone bright spot was Patty Mills

DaDa - The only time you like the Rockets is when they are talentless hard working hacks
    I think you loved TWack

I felt Francis and Yao had a higher ceiling than TWack and Yao
but the reality is Artest and Yao ended up having a higher ceiling than both

I say that to say this
Hate James all you want . .. but honestly . .who do you like?
    Yao . . .. and Hakeem and . . . .. . . .
