Yes, Gundy has a way of destroying the confidence of even seasoned vetrans (see Bonzi) and he is hell on rookies especially the kind that used to play in barns over in the Euroleague. Scola just doesn't know how lucky he is that old baldy is gone! :D :D

Nooooo Novak must stay he is my favorite rocket how can you not root for the guy? Its only one contest I am sure he can win his own share sooner than later. Besides Steve has the height which makes him even more valuable. Just you wait Steve will show his colors soon!!!

Yeah, let's ignore an 82 game stretch of 44% and focus on a 7 game slump where the offense gave Luther plenty of wide open shots.

And if you want to talk about playoff perfermances, Adelman doesn't exactly have the best track record either. He's got a choking shooter of his own. *cough*Peja*cough*. But you aren't going to put that on the coach now, are you?

The T-Mac audio from today is up. We spoke to him first. I asked the first two questions.

Playoff is the hell of all shooters.

whats important is what you can do when your shots not falling.

    Novak, useless.

Head, under JVG, useless. hope he can pick up something else.

    Dirk, chocked.

Okur, on the other hand, schooled Yao on defensive end. wise guy.

At first I was glad to see Brooks winning the contest. But then when I saw that he wasn't shooting well in scrimmages, I cringed. Historically, that doesn't bode well.

Dan Langhi shot lights out in practice. Boki was supposed to have made something like 20+ 3s in a row during practice. Novak, according to Padgett, doesn't lose this kind of contest. Look how these guys did in games.

I hope Brooks doesn't follow the pattern.

After Adelman's response about who had surprised him so far....

"I asked that question and I'm thinking to myself.. its always Chuck."

Sorry I just had to say that made me smile. My boy is always underestimated! :D

Thanks so much for the audio Clutch! Much appreciated!

Unfortunately...he's surprised that a pro basketball player can have such a horrible shot :p

    "These free throws...are an abomination."

Of course, Boki and Novak both struggled in summer league games (I don't really remember how Langhi did), while Brooks went nuts. I wouldn't be concerned with that.

I remember that Sam Cassell had HORRIBLE practices the first half of his rookie season, which is why he didn't play.
