Dang. OK, I guess I missed that. On ESPN's roster, he was listed at 175.

edit: Ok, I found it. How could he be 235? That's a bit much for a guard. He didn't look that big during the season, so I'd assume he lost some of it before hand.

Hmmm, I wonder how he and Mo Taylor were able to gain that much weight? :D

    Mmmm... nope.

If the center of the ball is right at the top of the key, a 20'er would hit the back rim and bounce off.

If the front of the ball is right at the top of the key, a 20'er would has the center of the ball 4.5" in front of the back rim which would result in a basket barely brushing the rim (not exactly a swish).;)

RocketPimp is right. We should reserve judgement on Nachbar until he can knock em down in a game. Langhi was a huge disappointment. My gut tells me Nachbar won't be. We can always hope.

Bateer's a good pick-up for the Spurs for a second-rounder. The I-10 rivalry gets intense now. lol

I know right, he knocks down some shots in a practice drill (by the way, we use to watch Matt Maloney drain 20+ consecutive shots in pick up games, and look how good he was), and they think he's better then 13 and equal to one of the players picked before him.

The guy was a gamble, and he's not going to do anything this year that will open people's eyes. He's got a lot to learn, and if he ends up the calabir of toni kukoc people will label Rudy a genius.

But he's not there yet, right now, he's just a rookie with a lot to prove.

I think Nachbar WILL open some eyes this season. I don't have any ulcers and haven't eaten at MacDonalds lately, so my gut is working just fine.

I think Boki will have some 18-22pt games in the latter part of the season, after he's acclimated to the system and gotten his legs under him. Games where he comes in just hitting everything he puts up. By then, Steve and Mooch will know to feed him the ball when he's hot, opposing teams still won't know him well (he's a rook), and Boki may be playing the other team's second unit.

He's been in a pro league of some kind since he was 15, if I'm not mistaken, and he strikes me as a very intelligent young guy. I'm looking forward to it.

Nachbar doesn't remind me of Matt Maloney at all.

Eddie Griffin with ice on the knees - is that a preventive thing or a treatment for an existing condition? Just wondering because he seems kinda young to have an existing condition and if it's a preventative thing, what's the logic? I've used ice before but only after injuries.

Sometimes joints and muscles get sore from working out too much.

Icing joints after workouts is comon place in all sports and not an indication of an pre existing injury.

Icing prevents or reduces swelling in joints that could lead to problems in the future. Icing is good.

i've never heard anyone call him a gamble at #15. in fact most post-draft articles called him a steal and even our best draft choice(those were the ming haters). of course i'll wait till the season starts to proclaim him the next stojacovic, etc. but he certainly has the ability to open quite a few eyes this year.

    Tierre Vs. Tito

Thats the matchup I'd like to hear about...

I'm guessing Tierre is eating his lunch and Rudy isn't paying attention

I think that no matter what Tierre does, they'll keep Tito because of the retarted assumption that Tito can play SG.

I think we should keep Tierre as 3rd string PG and Mickeal as backup SG unless Torres proves otherwise. Also, I cannot believe Collier is still here. Brutal, just brutal...

I have made plenty of positive remarks, it's just that unless someone bows down and worships them blindly and unquestioningly, you seem to take it as negative. Geez, potential means nothing, when you're around long enough, you'll realize that.

Ginobilli, Williams, all these guys...they are all potential right now. No one knows if they are the real thing until the step onto that floor and perform when it counts. So many players with expectations of greatness turned into duds. So many players with little expectations became the stars.

Why did everyone pass on Rashard Lewis in the first round? Including the Rockets...three times! Look at the guys they picked, are any of them still on the team? NO! Look at Masard Turkisan or whatever, Roderick Rhodes, Buck Johnson, Bryce Drew, the list goes on...dud dud dud.

Until proven otherwise, Boki is a dud. When he proves otherwise, then jump on the bandwagon, until then, he's just potential, and potential means jack unless it's turning into something.
