most places, usually have them like $15 or less when they first come out, but im getting the uber super 2 disc set, which will cost around $20+
I watched it for the first time last night. I wish there were more Fogell and less cops. I wish Fogell could have gone to the other party. "It's in!" Spoiler A DVD extra is the Vagtastic Voyage
hows the two disc? I went out and got the dvd last night, but they only had the theatrical single disc version
I got the Bluray and it has two discs but I didn't watch the other one since I was dead. Only getting 2 hours of sleep in a 48 hour period will do that.
funny funny movie... not as good as knocked up or 40 yr old virgin though. maybe i'm just tired of teen/high school movies.
I finally got around to watching the dvd. The 2nd disc of extras is great. The table reading of the script is really funny. Everything McLovin said got a big laugh. I also enjoyed the phone messages left by Jonah to Michael. Some funny, weird stuff.
I thought this movie was horrible. I mean, I loved 40 year old virgin, Knocked Up, and don't mind childish humor (in fact, love it) when done right - White Castle, American Pie 1 - but this didn't seem to come anywhere close to the levels of those two. I'm surprised how many people liked this movie. Granted, I only watched the first 30 minutes, but basically it was 30 minutes of cursing, mentioning of penis and vagina, which again is fine, if there is any further humor to it, other than just expecting me to laugh because a fat guy who can't get laid is pretending to masturbate behind a hot girl who's his lab partner for the day. I don't know...I usually like all these types of movies - Old School as another example...I just thought this was pretty bad and extremely painful to watch...
Yeah there is more to it than that. I liked this movie. BTW, American Virgin was bad. American Pie was horrid.
For me, McLovin and the Cops made the movie. The co-dependency of Cera and Hill is just the backdrop.
Just rewatched it on DVD. Hilarious the second time around, too. It's probably my fav out of all the Apatow movies. 40 YOV is just right below it and Knocked Up a distant 3rd.
