Saw the 1st one and was mildly entertained, but not scared. Loved the girls boobs. I am still perpetually searching for a movie that actually scares me instead of just startles me.
I haven't seen any of them but I noticed that this one is directed by super-indie-hero-duo Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman. Seems like an odd pairing. This series of movies has never appealed to me. Convince me otherwise.
Spoiler Dennis Julie katie and krysti, all head over to the grandmas house once the spirit starts to become more and more powerful. The. idea to come to the grandmas house was the grandma. Once they arrive they get the kids tucked in and the parents go to sleep as well as everyone else. Around 2 in the morning we hear a car roll up, Julie checks to see the noise. Ten minutes go by and Dennis grabs the camera to check what's up. When he steps away from the camera we see a figure behind him in the hallway. He go around the house and can find no one. He ends up in a old shack and when he opens the door he sees a group of old women and they begin to Chase him. He gets back to the house and sees Julie at the top of the stairs and she has a blank stare and is levatating. A force throws Julie at Dennis and they fall down the stairs. Julie is dead. Dennis finds krysti but not katie. They hide in a closet and hear noises. Dennis heads out and sees katie crying. He heads over to her and as soon as he gets to her she laughs and is shown that she is possesed and throws Dennis and breaks his leg. Once katie gets up the grandma walks by and we find out she is posessed all along. The grandma contorts Dennis body and kills him then takes the girls upstairs and says to "get ready"
rainnwilson RainnWilson Check out my new film, "Fairly Normal Activity 3", in which my character gets his car detailed & makes a tempeh lasagna.
Wasn't as good as the first two....but still had a few good moments. Definitely starting to get tired of the concept though. The scariest part was probably a trailer for The Devil Inside, though with a January release date how good could it be.
Why is there no thread for the 4th one? Anyway, I saw it and was very disappointed. It got so boring, I was texting through most of it.
True haha, but I just thought there would've been one already since its been out a couple weeks already. Just wanted to know what other people thought, especially those who've seen the other three.
4th one is really lazy and doesn't really add anything to franchise. Witches must be fun at the HOA meetings.
It was the worst of the series, by far. Added nothing to the general story arch except two tiny questions (see below) and had no scares at all. Only reason I'll see #5 is because I've come this far, might as well finish it. But I'll wait for the DVD. Spoiler So if Katie took Hunter, how did he end up with the family across the street and who was that other creepy kid?
I'm right there with you.... Spoiler Don't really know, I assume she lost him somewhere between the end of 2 and 4, ended up in an adoption center. Doesn't make much sense really. Other creepy kid, I just took as some other kid that was promised to a demon ala Hunter that they were using.
