Yeah, I saw the whole thing a few months back on OnDemand. It was much better than the crap they replaced it with.
it was a continuity from the past 3 live action movies, which, Spoiler yea Shredder died in the 2nd one i guess to warn you now, if the only Turtles you know is the movies and 89 cartoon, then you probably wouldn't like it. I saw it again today before watching Reign on Me (will put my thoughts in that thread), and enjoyed it even more. Got a more understanding of the whole 3000 year old myth and I appreciate more the second go around.
OMG, i just watched the vid on the previous page ranting on the first TMNT game on NES, dear GOD i felt his pain. I thought it was just hard for me cause I was a kid, but damn I was right all along. That has to be the funniest video ever, i remember lots of games that frustrated me like that.
So you'd recommend seeing it again? I was thinking about it (as the 1st of a "double feature" ), but wasn't sure if it would be better the 2nd time around.
I would, I didn't have plans to, buy my cousin wanted to watch it and we had time to waste before the next showing of "Reign Over Me" and since this was a short movie (83 mins) I watched it again. I would strongly recommend it if you were a little confused about the whole myth 3000 year thing, I kinda understood the first time, but made more sense to me the second go around. Btw, it was Number 1 in the box office over the weekend with earnings of $25 million beating out 300 for the top spot which still got $20 million. I hope that it keeps going strong in the box office, would love to see a sequel
think they're bring shredder back in the sequel? the foot clan leader lady said "we'll be seeing you again"
seems like it, the director has already gone on the record saying he wants to do a sequel with Shredder coming back.
I loved the movie. April being a badass was cool. I got tired of her always needing help from the guys. Casey and April being shown as a couple was pretty cool too. It made it girl friendly. All in all I thought this was awesome, but I wish I could have seen it with my little brother. He'd have loved it. You're still on that? Cute you're a stickler for quality. It was much better than I expected it to be. I give in. You are an awesome movie picker. Hey I loved the movie and that's the only version of the turtles that I knew. Being the geek I am I immediatly went to the TMNT page on wiki to check it out. I totally missed the whole myth thing since I missed the start so I definatly want to see it again. Karai becomes the new Shredder. At least if the go along with the comics anyway.
