For those who are into this kind of stuff, I put together some stuff of Portland's offense over this last week or so: <iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/vY74uZBN3OE?list=PLXWsHGeAyQD45_A85FdH94Mbzguy4Sl82" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> (The second video I put together before this season, the second to last one last year. Still in their playbook, though.) I'll add some more vids to the playlist as the season goes on.
reminds me a lot of the 08 celtics with Matthews and Batum running routes like pierce and Allen used to and Aldridge screening and popping back out for KG-esque long 2's.
This is very true, their bench scoring is led by Wesley Matthews and Mo Williams if he is on a hot streak. Damian Trillard has been hitting a lot of big shots along with LMA, but they honestly need a guy who can consistently get to the line. Is that CJ McCollum?
Heh. The third video on that playlist actually is the very same post-up into down-screen play the Celtics used to run for Pierce.
This is nice and all but does it compare to our ISO Harden? or our Post up Dwight? or our freelance camp out at the 3 plays??? I dun think so
to many open midrange shots and ball movement for the rockets coaching staff to implement. ISO ISO ISO and shooting 30+ 3s a game is the future of the nba !!!!!!!!
Blazers have a better record than us and be more top tier teams with movement. Maybe DM and Mch should reconsider. I know our philosophy in Nelly ball x euro x diantoni ,but when your max player shoots 0-10 on 3s is better to have a second attack and not be a one trick pony
Saw this video on RGM by someone else. Don't take credit for someone else's work. If I'm wrong, I apologize. Nonetheless, this is Stott's offense...heavily used in Dallas during their championship year.
