I live in Katy (99 & Westpark) and traffic seems back to normal. I leave at 6:20 and just take Richmond all the way to the Galleria and get to work by 7. I leave at 4 and get home about 4:50 (taking Richmond to avoid the tolls again).
Beltway 8 to I-10 West this morning... Whatever jackass caused that madness I hope you get an anal wart, you twat. Open the damned Tunnel already!!! I'm sick of the freeway ****.
All I can say is, "Fix the traffic light at 249/Louetta". All the other lights work and that one gets pretty busy sometimes. Other than that, life is pretty much back to normal for me.
Dude, tell me about it. On my way to UHD yesterday it took me an hr and a half from freakin' Pasadena. 225 was hell. Cant wait for things to get back to normal. BTW, guys I'm new to this board and I've really enjoyed reading all of these post. You guys are freaking hilarious.
Holy crap, we found our new way home! Left the Galleria at 5:40, took Hidalgo down to whatever that street is one light west of Fountain View. Took that to Westheimer and then that down to the Beltway (cut through neighborhood off Seagler). Hit the Beltway to 10 and 10 out to Katy and made to Wild Wing Cafe in 37 minutes. Beautiful.
Yipeee!!!! Since MONDAY, all lanes on I-10 have been open OUTBOUND. Rocketman95, you have a NEW route, sir. http://traffic.houstontranstar.org/layers/ check it out! GREEN, baby! GREEN!!!!!
Who knows how many lanes it is. Its not about how cold it is outside. Its about how cold it feels. It feels like at least 76 lanes compared to what it was.
Traffic was one of the greatest unsung bands of the late '60s and early '70s. Winwood was and still is a great vocalist in addition to boggling the mind with his skills on the piano, organ, guitar, and many other instruments. Just got the CD, "Low Spark of High-Heeled Boys" and will listen to it after lunch.
No. When I go through that tunnel I feel like i'm about to die. Then when I get out of the tunnel and smell the air, I feel like i'm going to die.
