This kid (19 years old) has impressed me quite a lot. Especially those accurate one-handed passes, a bit of a lost art.

    He's currently averaging:

    28.7 ppg, 10.4 apg, 3.5 rpg, 1.8 spg
    48.5% from the field
    41.1% from three
    86.0% from FT

    Team record: 10-1

    Top5 pick?

Very skilled, very impressive. He's shooting over 41% on threes at over 10 attempts a game. His style is tailor-made for the league today... and that quick release on shots 5-10 feet behind the three-point line is going to wreak havoc.

I wonder which NBA lottery team would be the best fit for him.

I'd probably say the Sixers if they can manage to keep LA's pick. Though I guess it depends on what Fultz turns out to be.

He’s a top pick bc of the hype he’s getting bc of how deadly his shooting is but if you pay close attention to his gameplay he doesn’t do much else but shoot. He’s slow, doesn’t have a crossover or a second move, and his drives are not that great bc his height.

He was absolutely awful in overtime. Every time up the court, it just felt like he was going to chuck up the first look he got.

I’m seeing some Trae Young fan boys saying that his game is similar to Harden. I see minimal resemblance other than the passing.

Harden gets into the lane and can finish through contact. Young everything is a floater or finesse move

This dude is more of a Steph Curry. I think Doncic is more like Harden - super skilled, with an old man's game (but not as long or athletic as Harden).

If I have the #1 pick, I use it on Young. If he has the quickness, he will be better than Stephen Curry ever was, and will wash away his records like a Tsunami to an ant hill. Potential GOAT, LeBron/Kareem/Wilt/Jordan-esuqe impact, will blow away Kareem's scoring record by scoring 40k+ in his 21 year career. I hate OU btw.

make sure to screen cap me if I'm wrong tho.

I'm a Trae Young fan, but come on, Jordan-esque impact? Offense is only a half of the game. Not to mention this kid still hasn't proven anything at the NBA level. He could easily bust. People thought Stauskas was going to be a star, just because he's a great shooter. And he was a better shooter than Young.
