You're welcome. Here's what I expect based on all the rumors I've heard so far: - Massive screen, possibly 5" - Dual core, probably Tegra 2 - Definitely will have WiMAX - Very high resolution back camera with 1080p recording. I'd expect a front camera too, but that's just speculation - DLNA certification and other goodies This phone is supposed to be Sprint's next big flagship phone after the Evo, so by implication its specs should dwarf the Evo's in pretty much every way. At this point I'm wondering if perhaps I should just buy an Evo off of eBay and sell it later when I upgrade to the new phone.
NVIDIA just going nuts at CES. Demoed Angry Birds and Dungeon Defenders (Unreal Engine) playing through a phone on a big screen HDTV. They claim the same version of the game is what plays on the PS3 - nothing scaled back. And now they're announcing a new desktop ARM chip to compete with Intel/AMD. Microsoft confirms that there will be an ARM version of Windows.
http://gizmodo.com/5725053/samsungs...-awesome-phone-the-new-nexus?skyline=true&s=i I might get me one of these.... Looks better than the Nexus S just looking at it. Of course, we'll have to see after some testimonials and things come out... but FINALLY, a nice android phone besides the Galaxy S for AT&T.
There are so many freaking tablets but they all running Android. I freaking don't like Android. It's like a bigger freaking version of a phone. The only one I'm interested in is the Blackberry Playbook and what the hell happen to the promise of Tegra incorporating into the Tablets?
The new Motorola Tablet Xoom will have Android Honeycomb 3.0, the first Android OS specifically for tablets <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/hPUGNCIozp0?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/hPUGNCIozp0?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object> looks sick Motorola also introduces its new Droid Bionic Motorola's Official Website
The 3DS is going to be a kickass handheld, but the initial design (and probably price) is ugly. Will wait for first revision.
That Bionic looks nice... but the Atrix is even better. I'm glad it's on AT&T too. Not sure if I should upgrade right now since AT&T will be upgrading to LTE soon... in late 2011. http://www.att.com/shop/wireless/devices/motorola-atrix.jsp#fbid=DAcyJKY4Pgn This baby has a dual-core 1 ghz processor with 1 GB of RAM. The camera comes up a little bit short since it's only 5 megapixels, but I don't care about the camera.
Excuse my French, but ... damn. Incredible stuff from Motorola here. I just might be forced to give up my awesome Sprint coverage and low monthly bills and move to AT&T just to get my hands on this monster. Well done, Motorola. Well done. <object classid="clsid27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" width="600" height="357" id="viddler_engadget_2,252"><param name="movie" value="http://www.viddler.com/simple/b055a0fc/"/><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"/><param name="allowNetworking" value="all"/><param name="allowFullScreen"value="true"/><param name="flashVars" value="f=1&autoplay=f&disablebranding=f"/><embed src="http://www.viddler.com/simple/b055a0fc/" width="600" height="357" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowScriptAccess="always" allowFullScreen="true" allowNetworking="all" name="viddler_engadget_2,252" flashVars="f=1&autoplay=f&disablebranding=f"></embed></object>
Motorola Xoom will run Honeycomb which is designed exclusively for tablets and is powered by a Tegra 2 chip.
That Nvidia Tegra demo like 2 yrs ago and haven't really heard anything since. I'm willing to give Android 3.0 a chance but I don't trust Google to give us a proper OS for a tablets. I find Google to be totally uncreative. Sure they know how to make things work but on the creative and cool functionality totally lacking.
Um, have you seen the Android 3.0 video? Or the Xoom hands on video? And the Xoom is scheduled to be available this quarter, not in the future. And there are several Tegra 2 powered devices being launched at CES, including the amazing Atrix phone in the video above.
Wow, thanks for the vid. Man, I think I'm ready to buy this thing. It's really between this and the Samsung for me. The only thing that the Samsung has on this is that 8 megapixel camera and 1080p recording, two things I really don't mind sacrificing for this beast. I'll probably manually upgrade this thing to Gingerbread though. I'm hoping it comes out before March.
@ces LG 3d led plus is awesome . You use the cheap plastic glasses like at the movies and its flicker free Also played kill zone 3 3d
Fxxk! Just release a 100GB bluray already instead or milking 2d version and then another version in 3D on a 50GB disk. <iframe title="YouTube video player" class="youtube-player" type="text/html" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/HvS3OUNKHZw" frameborder="0"></iframe>
