Deron is another planet in terms of ability from luther. players like deron with he's ability do not get fazed by inexpirence. luther is a role player .
BTW, different people react differently to pressure. luther certianly did'nt understand how bruital and physical the real sason is. he'll be better for the run.

Not that I like the idea of trading Yao!
But let us not be concerned about our system because I hope along with most of you that Les is going to change the system and get the Rockets back on track. :p

b/c we have yao, we'll never be a consistently explosive offensive team and that is a great thing. i don't want to run run run b/c that has yet to prove to win in the NBA. the two teams that will end up in the finals most likely are still the spurs and pistons.

yao does give us advantages b/c he's a skilled 7-6 guy who can score.

but he HAS to do something about his quickness. it's very frustrating to watch how that hurts him on both ends. that could be due to the injury not fully healing. but i remember when tmac was out, yao's defense was still exposed. but he was a tremendous scorer that none of it mattered. we were enamored by his scoring.

we can't trade yao b/c how many good, not great, big men are out there w/ a post game? 2? duncan and KG?

keep yao, but tell him to work on his quickness. i mean, i bet most players will tell u they fear deke on D than yao. yao needs to change that. we need yao to be an enforcer. not a guy that guys WANT to play against and dunk all over like boozer did. that's all.

That would actually be a great deal for us. Luther is pretty much useless to us and Bosh is capable of being as effective as Yao in a playoff series considering the way to stop Yao is to reduce his stamina by making him play defense or running him up and down the floor.

Yao for Bosh/TJ or KG or Pau Gasol+picks.

Pau plus the 1st pick...KG plus the 6th....that'd be great...

The only trades I'd do so far that are listed here is Bosh + Ford or Pau + 1st rounder. The problem with with Yao for KG straight up is that he's already 30. He has 4 or 5 good years in him at best.

I don't see why an argument can't be made seeing how well Yao did in this series.
