The trade will never happen, the Lakers would never do it, the Rockets would do it in a heartbeat.

I like T-mac, but there's no question that Kobe is a better player. Not only that, Kobe doesn't have back issues. T-mac hasn't won a playoff series, something Kobe has done many times.

Hello, when T-mac was in Orlando he was by far my favorite player in the league..Then he came to Houston, I went nuts!! I still like him as a player but off the court he's not the nicest person.. Me, my sister and her two KIDS were at Fox sports grill at the galleria..T-Mac was there with a friend..My sisters two kids went up to him for an autograph and he straight up said no...I know celebs don't like to be bothered but they're KIDS!!

It will never happen, but I'll take Kobe in a heartbeat..I honestly think the Lakers would do it...but the Rockets won't(too loyal)..If we have a chance to get him and we pass..that would not be very smart!!

*With Shaq. Kobe without Shaq has the same amount of playoff success as T-Mac. :D

Children are all over the place, so I doubt he could go anywhere w/o getting interrupted to the point he wouldn't even be able to eat.

I've heard TMac he goes out of his way to be personable to everyone he sees while at a venue like the T Center; where he works.

As for Kobe, nothing like trading a guy who doesn't want to be consistently bothered while eating for a seemingly polite rapist.

From a BB perspective, I'd consider it if we put 1 guy on the court at a time. But that's not BB is it?

    It's easy. TMac > Kobe.

We're talking here about winning basketball, not showbiz.

I would just give you to Kobe so you could towel dry his sack for him in the locker room.

Forget Kobe, we don't need him.

This trade does NOT work out for both teams. The numbers don't even come close to making it financially viable trade.

If either of the kids were girls, Kobe would have asked for their phone numbers and told them he would call them in a few years.

If, in fact, T-Mac punched you in the chest, I guarantee you did something to provoke it.

A group of roleplayers for Kobe? impossible.
If you want to trade for Kobe, that must involved young player who can be a leader of Lakers in future like Oden.

Otherwise, I don't think Boston will be sucessful on current lineup. Let's see.

Lakers won't trade Kobe for TMac. That's basically pointless for them. Unless you are willing to give up Yao, I don't think there's anything that LA is remotely interested.

That's it. You have to ask if LAL will take a randomly-timed bomb in TMac's back.

I would take Tmac+filler <-> Kobe in no time if I were Morey.

i didn't think boston would be the one to pick up garnett either

    never say never

what team would the lakers trade kobe to? based on his pure value, noone can do a trade with the lakers, the only real value trade would be yao for kobe. but rockets would never do that because yao is happy in houston.
there is no reason to trade yao.

but lakers aren't trading kobe cause they want to, so this isn't about value for value.
