Is the goal of the franchise to win a championship or to make a lot of money?

Noob. GET A LIFE! If you cant stand Tmac so much go make a fan site about kissing yao's ass and leave your negative comments elsewhere. Same goes for Tmac only fans.
Be glad that we have 2 of the most talented players in the league that are also 2 of the most unselfish players

No, we have a better chance of starting Cobi Karl on opening night.

Not if they lose. Kobe doesn't know **** about the rockets and Yao, and T-Mac does. T-Mac is a much better teammate. Kobe would find himself in the same situation....being pissed that he isn't the star, not taking 200 shots a game, and not making 20 of those and scoring 40 points.

That is the most idiotic comment I have read in a long time.

    Congratulations.

What did you expect? LOL. The quality of the posts is in generally directly correlated with the quality of the thread topic. The only sensible post that I can find in this thread happens to be my own earlier post:

    :D

These Kobe butt kissers want a guy that will score 50 points a night and have a dispirited team that barely wins games by 2 points.

Kobe has never won anything without Shaq and that's a fact.

TMac finally with the right system, head coach and players will win something this year even if it isn't everything. He's in a better situation to do that than Kobe, attitude wise and personnel wise.

Kobe will rarely look to get other teammates involved, he being more interested in outduelling Gilbert Arenas or Lebron James or Dewayne Wade in the stat sheets.

TMac is heartfelt about winning AS A TEAM and I think he'll be in better health this year due to the flowing system. I'll take TMac's 25 points, 8-12 assists over that ballhogging, vain me-me-me personality from LaLa Land.

Nah, send Kobe to the Eastern Conference. Don't need him here.

I would do that trade 10 times out 10. Kobe is the best player in the league, and TMac is playing with a fragile back that could blow out any second. I would do it and throw in three or four more players. If that happened the league should just cancel the playoffs and mail the trophy to Houston.

Noob can mean many things....not necessarily calling someone a rookie.
And what does being a new member has to do with it? It doesnt mean Im new to the Rockets or basketball or something.

You're not a YOF too are you?

wow, so many people hating the fact that kobe for tmac discussion even existed.

It kind of remind me the Tmac and SF trade talk. I think this is a legit discuss, as someone pointed out due to the article posted by ESPN.

During the summer, many of you have came up with similar ideas without much support. it were pretty much your "own fantasy" wish.

Given the fact that the owner of the Lakers personally openly "asking" for other teams to seek trade with equal value, once has to think about our options.

people need to be unbiased and think about it as a rockets fan, not player's fan.

Think about these: (i am not pushing either way, just want to see your opinions)

We got 20 players, do we just cut 5 people in order to make it 15? that doesn't sound too logical. Can we find any other teams out there to trade with?

How often do stars with Kobe status and winning history goes on the trading block? We traded SF for Tmac, and CD excuse was pretty much the same.

What's our probability and chances of winning in the playoffs with tmac and kobe? who would flair better?

Sure, alot of you guys may hate Kobe now but

If Kobe becomes a Rocket, he'll soon become your favorite player of all time (close to Hakeem)

Nobody in LA wants a Kobe for T-Mac trade, they want to give us junk for Yao. I can't see us giving up a good passer for Kobe, besides T-Mac is damaged goods, he's one fall from being out most of a season...as dumb as the Lakers brass are, I can't see them doing that trade.

in all honestly, if health wasn't a factor I would prefer tmac over kobe. As kobe is just too much of a drama queen.

However, I don't know if i can stomach another injury season or the no-show Tmac in 4th quarter of playoffs.
