Thats a good point. However, they did still have Kobe...I still think they are not going to take on another superstar with a Kobe trade...They need CAPSPACE!!! They need role players....I would be gearing up for a KingJames free agency year.....I know it's a long stretch from now....but it's worth the wait and the sacrifices....plus...with Kobe gone....S Oneal would most likely come back with the right role players and JAMES.
LOL, sucks to be a T-Mac only fan when everyone on this forum agrees T-Mac should get traded. Boo-Hoo. No wonder you're in a foul mood. BTW, I've reported your other post referencing sexual language. Children might be reading. Most likely, you'll get banned.
I dont remeber EVER agreeing on trading TMAC. I said I would trade everyone except our to Key players....even then I would be very reluctant on trading/breaking up the roster we have now....we have a VERY strong unit and with time I can really see this team getting over that playoff hump and going on to GREAT THINGS...As a Rocket Fan/Clutch Fan I think we need to support the team that we have, and the one we have is no mediocre team....this is a CONTENDER!!!
A lot of people can be shocked this year. You can say tracy's weaker than kobe but in the same time you have to notice that he had to make plays for himself and for his teammater. And that's why you cannot compare kobe to tracy. this year tracy will feel, will be like boke, thinkin' to score most of the time
Thats true...with all the offensive freedom and options Mac will have I think he will outshine everyone at his position this year. I think Tmac will make a strong push for MVP...possibly even FINALS MVP!!
lOL...That's cool. I'll take that...but I'm still going on record saying this team will take it all this year. I just need to start saving up for the playoff tickets
Really, really really I belive we will make at least the 2nd round of the playoffs. But seriously we can easily get to the WCF and maybe make a strong push there. As for T-Mac, he is able to win the MVP of the NBA. He showed it last season when he was even the 3rd.
i'm sure we'll meet the lakers in the first round this yr if we can get the top seed. then we'll see the tmac-kobe showdown that all anticipate.
You know....with that being said...I can see Tmac at number one for MVP and Yao runner up or visa versa. Yao will be able to use his great passing skills a lot more this year and his numbers should ALL go up...with all the passing. What about Stevie for most improved and Wells for six man of the year....we can snatch up all the end of year awards!!!!
I don't think so I'm not sure of the Lakers will even enter the playoffs. If yes they will probably be the last team in the West, I mean no. 8. I put Rockets at 3
With all the great off season moves...that qualifies Morey or Exec of the year and getting the rockets out of the first round his first year would qualify Adelman for Coach of the Year....Damn...It's nice to dream!!
i don't care for awards. the only award any team should thrive for is the championship. it's the ultimate TEAM award. i'd be disappointed if we lose in the 2nd round w/ this team. REALLY disappointed
I know this is a Kobe/Tmac trade forum...however, do you all see any team that really matches up with us??? The suns are the only team I would worry about....and if they end up trading Marion...then I think we can own them too...No other team scares me....#3 really?
Dream...? Damn, it can really happen. Let's face it: NBA Champs: Houston Rockets Final MVP: Yao Ming (let him be...) Season MVP: Tracy McGrady ASG MVP: Tracy McGrady Coach of the year: Rick Adelman Defensive player of the year: Shane Battier Rookie of the year: Luic Scola Most improved: Steve Francis 6th man: Bonzi Wells
Oh yeah....I agree with you 100%....I meant it would be nice to have those in addition to the BIG ONE!!
nope, we struggle w/ the suns b4 b/c we can't matchup w/ their small ball. now we can w/ francis/james, and we have bonzi to punish bell/diaw. and w/ scola, they can't crowd yao like they have been. a healthy tmac can own that team single-handedly. a team i always respect is the spurs b/c of their defense and experience.
