Man if somebody has a different opinion than you are that doesn't mean he's dumb...

again, people think having james/francis/alston is too much in terms of chemistry, now u add kobe in there. imagine kobe giving francis a look after one of his TO. imagine kobe glaring at james after oen of his misses.

if u want kobe, u have to unload james AND francis. kobe wants the ball on the perimeter. now the depth morey worked hard to add is gone just to get kobe.

hell, kobe wouldn't even let odom handle the ball much and he's one fo the best passing big men in the game.

it's not dumb because it's different opinion. It's dumb because it's dumb.

You don't put two headcases together. T-Mac and Kobe are like both negatives. They will repel each other.

It's a very dumb thing to even suggest.

You're right about the cap space but anyone can offer that so if they want cap space they could take t-mac and fillers since his contract comes off the books in '10 when all the superstars may be free agents. T-mac IMO is the best player and contract if their planning on signing a big name free agent in '10.

Have you all read the article that includes the Rockets as a team interested in Kobe? If so, why do you think the Rockets are willing to upset our current roster with trade rumors this early in the season?

it's speculation by justice, a reporter. his article has no quotes from anyone in the organization. so unless he has a quote, then all of this is speculation by a reporter looking to capitalize on the hottest news.

Isiah Mum on Kobe Trade Offer
Isiah Thomas declined to say whether he was one of the teams that made an offer to the Lakers over the summer for Kobe Bryant. Thomas, citing a league rule about addressing other team’s players, is believed to have made an offer for Bryant, who last May asked to be traded only to rescind the request.

On Wednesday, Lakers owner Jerry Buss said that he would have acted on a trade offer that was "within reason."

"You have to get comparable value when you make a trade," Buss said. "It's very hard to trade somebody like him because people who have enough material to make it worthwhile are usually contenders and they don't want to make the trade."

If Kobe is traded -- I still believe he will sign an extension with the Lakers -- the front runners appear to be Chicago and Dallas. Thomas would certainly make a run at Kobe and you can bet that the Rockets, Suns, Raptors, Clippers, Magic and Bobcats will all be in the running, too.

Allan Houston practiced with the Knicks on Friday and hit several jump shots. At times he was guarded by Fred Jones, one of the players he will have to beat out in order to make the team. However, Thomas said after practice that he has no intention of cutting Jones, a player he originally drafted with the Indiana Pacers.

I wonder why doublehh03 did not respond to this post. :D

Hey doublehh03, I am proud to admit that I am a Yao Ming fan. But you have never seen me defend Yao by bashing Tmac before. Why? Because the team Houston Rockets is always the number one on my love list and therefore I love every player on the team. I wouldn't defend any one of the Rockets at the expense of another Rocket. Look, I am not saying you cannot criticize Yao Ming. I have criticized him before too. But I wouldn't bash him just because I want to defend another player. Can you see the difference there? I am also not saying that you hate Yao. But, obviously, Tmac is above anything on your love list, even the Rockets team. This is an easy conclusion to make based on your past posts. Agree?
