I don't really get fanboyism to tell you the truth. It's basically just a bunch of nerds trying to argue who has a cyber dick. It should be a pretty easy choice. Just figure out which games you like to play most and pick that system. Take cross-platform games out of the equation and figure out which exclusives you'd rather play.
After a few paychecks I'll have to choose between the two. I think I may end up with a 360 since all my friends own one, so I can play games online with them. Though a blue ray player is tempting.
