Too bad this is all a pipe dream...there is almost zero chance this will happen..but at least someone realizes that part of the rockets' problem is an insance shortage of younger talent. We need to move some of the old bodies off this team and replace them with fresh legs. Veteren leadership was only at a premium when cat and francis were in town. Now we have players with a higher basketball IQ surrounded by players woefully past their prime or that will never be that good to begin with. With that said..i still dont believe either one of these deals gets done..but its the correct school of thought.

Wow if we could pull of those trades I would have to order league pass. Thats a pretty potent lineup.. Nene is the enforcer bruiser type we need next to Yao. JRose is the athletic wing player ..

    MoT/Deke/CSpoon = JRose/DMarshall

    JJackson/Boki = RWhite/Nene

    BSura / CWard
    TMac / RGaines
    JRose / RBowen
    Nene / JHoward
    Yao / Nene

Sounds pretty good to me.. If we can find a legit PG, drop CWard and allow BSura to backup both guard spots we are set.

Come on CD make it happen!

Don't hold your breath. Toronto would never make that deal.

I agree. I dont see them giving up Marshall with Rose.

But you might be able to do this deal

    Rose/Lamond Murray for Mo/Deke/Spoon.

Spoon and Murray have similar contracts. Murray as a SF that can shoot would work well on this team.

They would do it in a heart beat. W/ both Deke & Spoon coming off the books after this season. It would make Toronto a player in the free agent market next season.

I don't think they do that either. (theyd be stuck with $15 MIL in backup 4s for the next 2 years).
