Landry was a bench player. He actually was the best bench player in the whole league. We did not ask him to be a starter. Landry was good enough to be Lowry's running mate. His Sacramento plays have nothing to do with Rockets and his bench role.
I think this a bit of an over-reaction.... More than anything the bad record is a result of chemistry with all the new players, and injuries (Yao & AB)..... Just from the few games I have seen, it seems players like Lee & Budinger could really do well with increased minutes. Trading Kevin Martin is not the answer... Maybe he should come off the bench for a few weeks - until he starts playing much better defense. I think that would send him a message.
