If Morey wants to play for 2012 I can understand the logic HOWEVER it's a VERY risky move. The NBA landscape has changed and I'm not so sure DHoward, CP3 or Deron Williams will want to team up with Martin and Scola when NY, Brooklyn, Orlando, Dallas and LA Clippers with Griffin and Gordan are going to be viable options.

Scola will be 32 and ,while he will age well, would have taken a pounding by then while Martin will be close to 30 and considering he lives off contact, injuries may become an issue by then.

If he can't convince one of these guys to come over by then, he would have wasted FIVE years searching for a star and who knows how many more after 2012.
