you're fighting a losing battle. I mostly just ignore the GARM during the playoffs and get my Rox talk on in the chatroom. It's too frustrating posting anything here these days.

Would you trade MacGreat for a pile of dung? I'd at least seriously consider it.

    You fans r terrible...Dallas...Houston...Heat...others.

You all are so high mighty when your teams win, but when your teams lose a playoff series or your star player doesn't play up to his abilities, you all want to ship out of town at the drop of penny.

There were years that Kareem did not make the playoffs.

There were years that Magic & Larry did not go deep into playoffs.

There were years that M.J. and Bulls had sub-par years in the playoffs.

There were superstars who didn't get their team out of the first round until their 7 and 8th year.

There were superstars who only got to the playoffs one time.

But everybody on this board has lost their minds, especially after their team lost a game 6 on the road...I wonder how many teams have actually won game 6 in a tough arena.

chill it's not the end of the world.

Call me YOF or whatever - I sincerely hope they DO trade Yao to Dallas, or Lakers, or Toronto for the sake of me being able to watch all his home games. I fail to see how it was Yao's fault last night, but I do see what Yao can do when he's surrounded by consistent shooters instead of streaky shooters.

Yao played an OK game - sure his TOs can be cut down but how many of those 8 are flops and plain bad calls, like when Yao tried to get rid of Okur's arm to receive the ball. When people call Yao soft, I do agree to a certain degree but for the most part, I know he's not soft, neither mentally nor physically. He just hasn't figured it out - If he runs Okur over every time he touches the ball, the refs won't call it every time. So take a few hard fouls to make a statement, and pay a few 100K fine to tell the refs that he's mad at them. Look at GS - they get fined, ejected and tech'ed up, but they won because they are the aggressors and in this league, and in this culture, aggressors are always the winners.

Exactly. Yao is a true center, or at least as close to one as we can get in this league. You're NOT going to get someone else with the skills he has. Dirk is a high scoring forward on a good team. There are lots of those in the league, but only one Yao Ming. The reason he has so many TOs is because the ball stays in his hands too long. Mostly because of a poorly designed offense. The offense doesn't fit Yao and, it doesn't fit McGrady. It's a very simple vanilla half court offense that depends on one thing, execution, which the Rockets (not just Yao) never have consistently.

First good post I"ve seen today. Head is completely useless this playoff series. Francis or Acie Law..I'd go either way. By the way, for those of you who were paying attention. How did Dirk do last night losing to the Warriors???

Nowitzki missed his first eight shots, bricking consecutive 3-point tries late in the second quarter before hitting a 16-footer for his first basket of the game with 38 seconds left in the period. The league's probable MVP played nothing like it, scoring only eight points for the night on 2-of-13 shooting as the Warriors won a 111-86 laugher at Oracle Arena.

You'd better own up to being a Mav's fan on a Rockets board than to start a thread like this where you are going to get OWNED!!

I agree. With the way the game is being officiated now and with the rules changes. I think big slow centers like Kareem Abdul Jabbar would have the same problem. Fast athletic centers like Olajuwan would not have such a difficult time although I think they'd jam Olajuwan in the post too and I don't think his offensive production would be as great now as then.

YAO has a higher shooting % than anyone else on the Rockets who has shot more than 15 times in this series.

    Is he really the issue????

I know he can do more, but hell, no one around him is doing crap offensively.

Did you get that idea here or you are under the influence of some substances you are not supposed take!

Without Yao, Rocket would be watching Phx and Spurs game by now.

This post is a complete waste of resources here!

No deal. Yao will be better after he fully recover from his injury and he still got room to improve.

I start to wonder how many of these stupid threads are actually started by real Rockets fans.....

i'm sure you and all of you non fans will be back on the Bandwagon after the game 7 win...
