I find it comical that the same treatment Steve Francis got from the YOF is now the same treatment they are getting from the Trade Yao group, sweet justice at it's finest. Whatever the case, Yao can not be relied on to carry a team at any level of consistency; which is fine when Tracy is here but when Tracy is out as he is now Yao's diffenciencies are magnified ten fold because he has noone to hide behind.

With the way it goes, a Rockets team with TMac minus Yao would have the same problem. RIP, JVG coaching.

Don't you mean stupid for chaosad + draft picks? You can't do that straight up.

So, you are saying that SF3 for TMac was a bad move for the organization? I thought most of the Rockets fans agree that we became a better team after the trade, although many of us do love SF3. Too bad that there is no trying-out-and-then-turning-back machine to allow us to play every possibility. But it's such a comic that "fans" claiming Yao as useless but demanding KG for him as return, and fans questioning Yao's quality as an all-star demanding Wolves GM to treat him equally as a top 3 player. Either those fans are much smarter than the rest fans and GMs and coaches, or they are just out of their minds. If Yao for KG is the sweet justice you are waiting for, you will probably have to wait a lot longer.

    "Trade Yao"

Give me a break. Sure the guy still has some holes in his game and REALLY needs to become more consistent but let's be serious here, how many other players are there in the league like Yao? You have a dominant 7'6" center who is young and still developing, how many other teams in the league can say that?

Let's also not forget a big draw for T-Mac welcoming the trade that even made him a Rocket in the 1st place was the opportunity to play with a dominant big man. But no, apparently its wise to take a giant risk by trading Yao then praying everything works out & this new mystery player can mesh well with T-Mac.

I am not calling for the Rox to trade Yao at all only saying that his same problems seem to trancend the players who he plays with. The same reason we were calling for Cat and Steve's head are the same reasons we have ripped every gaurd who has ever played with him. He is too soft in the post and I doubt that will ever change. The problem is manageable when someone else is demanding the double team but whe Yao is doubled he becomes borderline detremental to what the team is trying to do. All the blame however does not fall on his shoulders though . I am tired of watching him set screens for the gaurds at the three point line that really serve no purpose other than to tire him out and i am tired of seeing him post on one side only to have the ball swung around so he he can post again on the other side. For a player who will always have stamina problems this does not seem to be maximizing his time on the floor. Oh well I'm rambling, bottom line I am not asking anyone to trade Yao but in the same breath I would listen to offers for him.

Yao needs to do something different.....

Like hang on to the ball when someone throws it to him. We keep trying to get him the ball but Yao keeps losing it. Either from getting bumped or just being clumsy.

Maybe they need to stop throwing the ball to his feet, or over his head....

Maybe Yao needs to drop an elbow into the next 6-6 210 lb small forward he lets push him off the block. Yao could make any point in the league a poor to average post passer no matter how good they are. He is too soft in the post.

sorry I got in here late

Lippman: And, anyway I was just reading your final edit, um, there seems to be an inordinate number of exclamation points.

Elaine: Well, I felt that the writing lacked certain emotion and intensity.

Lippman: Oh, "It was damp and chilly afternoon, so I decided to put on my sweatshirt!"

    Elaine: Right, well...

Lippman: You put exclamation point after sweatshirt?

Elaine: That's that's correct, I-I felt that the character doesn't like to be ch-ch-chilly...

Lippman: I see, "I pulled the lever on the machine, but the Clark bar didn't come out!" Exclamation point?

Elaine: Well, yeah, you know how frustrating that can be when you keep putting quarters and quarters in to machine and then *prrt* nothing comes out...

Lippman: Get rid of the exclamation points...

    Elaine: Ok, ok ok ...

    Lippman: I hate exclamation points...

    Elaine: ...ok I'll just....

I'd just like to throw in another "The poster of this thread is an idiot" for good measure.

TMAC is always the best player on the team to pass Yao the ball. Barry the second.

None of them is a PG though.

The Hawks game showed what we have known for a while:

T-Mac is the Batman and Yao his Robin.

    End of discussion.
