No, we need a scoring-rebounding machine PF and a play-making, sharp shooting PG to go with him. He will then come alive, and we will go deep in the playoffs. Bring in the necessary ingredients, then you can bake a championship.
You know you're a superstar when people point out that your stats of around 15pts/10rebs are an example of your bad games.
Sure it will. Check some of his numbers against the East and you'll see why he's not as dominant as you think he is against the East. He's inconsistent at best.
I would do this one: Yao and Clarence Weatherspoon for Kirk Hinrich, Eddy Curry, Tyson Chandler, and Bulls' 2004, 2005, and 2006 No. 1 picks. Really, it's a fair deal. Yep, dream on.
As much as how disapointing yao was, Rox will give him at least one more year. At a rookie's salary and considering the huge attention he can bring, yao definitely is a great value for rockets organization and Les.
This can't be done under current rules. Thier first picks in 2004, 2006 and 2008 is possible, but no NBA team can trade away consecutive No. 1 picks in any one trade.
Wait wait... to the guys credit. Okafor is probably a sure thing, Elton Brand type player. Chandler has potential. Serious potential. If I were a GM: If Chandler didn't have injury problems... and I want to keep rebuilding... I'd think long and hard about this trade. It's pretty fair.
I love it, everytime a player has a bad game the trade threads start. Let's trade Francis! now it's trade Yao! unbelievable
Wow! another trade idea ,the 58484158888 trade ideas so far maybe. If you had bad relationship with your girl friend, will you want to trade her for another. Hehe ,Joke! Yao+ Steve =Champions .
This can't be done under current rules. Thier first picks in 2004, 2006 and 2008 is possible, but no NBA team can trade away consecutive No. 1 picks in any one trade. Not neccessarily true. The rule says that you can't make a trade that would leave you with no first round picks in two consecutive future drafts. It's just first round picks, but not neccessarily your own picks. So, if the Bulls have or could acquire somebody else's first rounder in 2005, then they'd be free to trade their own picks in 2004, 2005 & 2006. The other way to do it would be to acquire another teams first rounder in 2006. Pick the player that the Rockets want in the 2004 draft and then make the trade after the draft. As soon as the 2004 draft completes, that draft is no longer a future draft, so they are free to trade the 2005 pick as long as they have some teams 1st rounder in 2006. Just a clarification of that rule, not an endorsement of that trade idea.
Shag has a 10 pts 5 boards game tonight. A few more games like that I am afraid the Lakers fans would want to trade Shaq for Okafor too. Be ready for the bidding war guys.
I would trade anyone on the Rockets other than Yao for Okafor. I think he is going to be that good. DD
