Because of his physical and mental limit, he is easy to get tired + he cant jump, his mind is weak in the crunch time, Yao almost never scored anything in the crunch time, last night, he did produce something in the last minutes which are turnovers. This is his 7th yr with rox, what is your comment about him? A good center, a nice guy? But what else? If rox still wants championship instead of money from Chinese shoemakers, it is a good time to trade him intead of signing him with max dollars, DM pls. dont do this, this will hurt rox for yrs... I bet we can easily get top 10 players in giving up him.
trade for who? Yao is top ten player in the league, Who the hell else are you going to get that is going to put the Rox over the top?
Furthermore, the only limitation i see in his this season is his Turnovers then again Howard gets close to 3 turnovers a game as well. Yao for the season is 19.9 pts on 54.5% shooting FG 9.7 rebs in (33 minutes) 1.7 asts (33 minutes) 1.7 blks (33 minutes) What more do you want? He's physically slow compared to 6-7 guys, but his lower body is strong, he is the perfect teammate and he gives his all, Not every team has a Wade, Lebron, Kobe, CP or Duncan.
Yes if we can get Lebron/DWade/CP3/Kobe or may be Al Jefferson in return. But I doubt Les is willing to do it even if a good offer is available.
What's with this sudden surge in Yao-hate? Unless we get Lebron, Kobe, CP3, or Dwight, we wouldn't improve.
Plus he makes shots easier for the rest of the team since many people double him. He has to work on recognizing the double team and pass it out as soon as it arrives. The team will be a lot better if he can improve on that.
Without consideration of economic reasons, if I was Les, I would trade Yao only for Lebron or Kobe. Not even CP3.
it sounds good ,but i don't think we can get a real superstar who can lead the rockets to win the ring .kobe,leborn,it is impossible .now we should wait morey trade t-mac for one or two good players and see yao lead the rockets to compete for the ring in 2010.
