Sorry...you meant for a power forward. Well....Vin Baker seems to be having a good year. We might have to add in some filler or our trade exception to even out the numbers tho.

Yao's not a great player yet. Hopefully he will become one. But he's just a good player right now.

The Rockets don't have ANY great players right now.

wow, i know he made some turnovers in the game, but hes learned how to pass this season. Hes made some exellent dishes outside to JJ, and cat, and other 3pt shooters. At this point hes our best player, no doubt about it. He is an all-star, and deserves to start every year. Hes one of the leagues most dangerous scorers, and one of the best at creating his own shot(which he is doing way less this year since people think yao is the best at doing that). Hes not ment to be a pg, but he does his best, consistantly getting +6 assits per, especially tonight when our shots were not falling is hard to do. Sf is a sp, and van gundy should of considered that option. If he was a sg, he would be at atleast AI's level. But since he does something he is not natural at, it makes him look not so hot. But when he is in scoring mode, you see why hes a super-star, becasue hes a dangerous threat from anywhere. WHy do you see teams constantly center their defense around him?

No. Seriously? Did you just suggest that we might consider trading Yao Ming AND SOME OTHER PLAYERS FOR CAP FILLER for Vin Baker???

Someone, please tell me I'm having a nightmare.

He is in fact great for his position now. There are no centers in this league. He gets double and sometimes triple-teamed before he gets the ball. No other center can say that. Shaq could...but opponents can't because there is Kobe, Gary, and Carl to make that fatal to the opposition. He is the reason our guards get so many open looks. There are only two power forwards that I would trade Yao for. One is actually a center and the other is a dominant SF/PF. Can you guess who these two players are?

It's funny how some members think about trades everytime we loose a game. It was just one lousy game .

Ming for Kenny Thomas trade accepted. Or Kmart, he's an allstar. so's walker. whatever.

This is one stupid ass thread.

Oh, and Ming for Odom + draft picks is r****ded. You are aware Odom ended up with the MAX this year right? You think CD would pony up Max money at this point to 2 players with all the dead weight contracts currently on the team?

    puh-leeze.

It does not make any difference. No matter what player(s) we have in return for the Yao return, the ball will continue to be in Francis and Cat's hand. We may as well trade Yao for nothing and that save some $ for Rocket.

And we'll continue to be a lotter team for the next five years. Hopefully, we shall have enough Yaos after those five drafts to reach the playoff.

Well, I better go to the other "trade all back court" thread now.

    :D :D :D

Hehe...I got you so flustered that you(of all people) messed up your writing:D ....Perhaps I should announce my sarcasm with faces so no one has a heart attack. Seriously tho...I have actually seen people on this board that (after a loss to a great team at their house) would consider both trade scenarios that I laughingly presented. Fools

Sorry I didnt know I started such a worthless thread. I just wonder why posters here are so SURE that, for example:

    a) Yao+Cato+JJ+Cat+SF >
    b) Cato+J.Oneal+JJ+Cat+SF

It's not about group a) or b) has more talents or protential. It's about which group has a better TEAM. I personally are not sure and that's why I ask for opinions.

i doubt yao or francis are going anywhere anytime soon anyway
