Yeah, I had my views on TyTy and then I looked at some scouting reports. One or two were spot on with the flaws I've seen. I love his floater game which plays in nicely with Pick-n-Roll; but what about? *Speed (or lack of.....KPj is not fast but utilizes his size with pause & hesitation well) * One-on-one defense (poor) * Transition defense (poor) * 3-Pt shooting (poor) * poor shooting from 12 to 19 feet * Only 6'3" * lack of speed and ball handling to get by one-on-one NBA quality defenders * lack of lift/explosiveness to get to the rim consistently and finish * Not much on rebounds * Not much on steals * I don't see great court vision (in summer league). Let's see with Rockets (Varsity) I have to give him years to develop.....but right now I see him as early second round project. We ended up picking him #29. So other teams see it that way as well.

Weird to me that people didn't like this trade. We add a second-round pick to our cache of draft picks and walk away with the best player in the deal. I'm a little intrigued by Theo Maledon but I doubt the Thunder would just throw him into this salary dump if he had shown them much. I suspect somewhere along the line somebody will need a quality back-up big and we'll get another second rounder in exchange for Favors.
I really don't know how the roster is going to shake out. I assumed Favors would make the roster, but I don't know anymore after the Bruno signing. Sengun, Smith, Tari, KJ, Garuba, Bruno, and Boban is already a pretty full frontcourt.
