Would not trade Brooks, Martin, or Scola for Cousins. Anybody else is fair game.

You don't give up proven borderline/fringe all-star quality players for unproven rookies, even if the unproven rookie has superstar potential.

Also people saying "olol you wouldn't give up Brooks and Scola for Wall?" Well, guess what, Wall has proven a LOT more than Cousins has at this point. Wall is averaging 16.7/8.9/3.5 on a solid but unspectacular .507 TS%. Those are pretty amazing numbers for a rookie.

And yet I'm still not sure I'd trade both Brooks AND Scola for him. That's a lot to give up no matter what player you're talking about.

All Cousins has shown is that he can be a good backup center in the NBA. Wall has proven himself as a top 20 starting point guard already.

I agree with the OP. The Rockets must acquire a top tier interior prospect/banger. Cousins is certainly at the top of my list. His skills remind me of Tim Duncan.

I would pretty much give Sacramento whatever they want for Cousins.

I would pretty much give Indiana whatever they want for Hibbert.

I would pretty much give Washington whatever they want for McGee.

I would pretty much give Memphis whatever they want for Gasol.

I would pretty much give Atlanta whatever they want for Horford.

If we can't get a building block C, let's go get Anthony Randolph and Hasheem Thabeet for cheap, and RUN RUN RUN...DEVELOP DEVELOP DEVELOP

Not trying to insult, but have you ever even watched Cousins play? And he reminds you of arguably the best PF to ever play the game? Cmon man....

Kindly note that I should have qualified my statement. Cousins reminds me of a young Tim Duncan. He has a nice jump shot, and a host of post moves. Also has a beard.

If Duncan was lazy, unprofessional, and inconsistent.

What a stupid comparison, a player who is the ultimate in using his talent to a standard NBA underachiever. Al Jefferson is a better comparison.

He good but I dont think he is a franchise type center...I would compare him to a less athletic Derrick Coleman...I think his lack of vertical and quickness will be a major problem defensively

Regardless of what anyone thinks about how Cousins career will pan out, I think we can all agree SAC would command much more than the Rockets are willing to give. Yes we have to rebuild. No, we don't have to break the bank doing so.

They will never go for that. Better chance is to trade up in the draft and try for Enes Kanter. T-Will and Cousins gives us two knuckleheads on the same team never a good idea having more than one...

Then you are truly trippin. Wall is a 20-year old rookie. I'd take him for Brooks and Scola in a heartbeat. The Rockets are rebuilding right?

    This.

I love me some Roy Hibbert. Kevin Martin, PatPat, and picks.... Probably not enough.
