Terrence has a contract which is Viagra for general managers. Assik/Jones for Love works in trade checker.
He is playing great but unfortunately he has disappeared on all games when he plays players like Elridge, novetski, Ibaka, etc. Monday will be a good test. If he can just slow down Elridge then I will say we have something. But, if he disapears again ....
Wolves would be insane to just trade love now, atleast experiment with coaching changes or other player trades before trading the cornerstone to the franchise. If only khan was still their
Yes, Jones must be traded now while his value has gotten much higher. He's a good player, but, his trade value might even be higher than Asik's right now.
Depends on a number of factors. I think that like most teams, they won't give up hope of keeping a star player until the very last moment. But is it "insane" to trade a guy earlier than, say, when the star's contract is in its last season? Not if you get the right return and you know that the odds are not in your favor in terms of keeping the guy. Utah did it with Deron Williams, for example, when there was still 1.5 years left on his contract.
What happens when TJONES plays any of the top 10 power fowar? Unproven until he does it against the best
lol typical reaction. Rocket player on hot streak - "trade him while his stock is high!" Some other NBA players on ht streak - "can we get him for asik/Lin!??!"
Yes he is unproven but his ceiling is high. Give him another year and watch how good he will play against those top ten Power Forwards. Oh and in some of the games this season against top PF's, he has held his own.
Many talk about the Rockets not developing their players, and shipping them out too early. Yet, they want to trade a player who is developing? AND at the position which is most needed? Oh.
