yes here comes another guy outta the woodwork to complain about tmac...i have always loved watchin tmac, but he has lost his flare and scoring ability. it's more than just adelman, i'm sick of hearing that it's all rick adelman's fault. he's not doin well, but it's hard when your guys aren't hitting their shots. there is no way we can trade yao, it would be the dumbest move ever. tmac is getting to the end of his career, and whatever we can get for him will be better than watching him wilt into an injured, overpaid player. I'm not about to suggest a stupid trade that we all know would not happen, but let's just say i would be happy with a lot of guys out there. 12 and 12 is not acceptable for a team that should be in the top 3 in the nba.trade tmac now while we can get something good back for him!!!
Where do you get this from? T-Mac is shooting at his best % from both 2 and 3pt land since arriving with Houston, he is as fit as he has been since arriving with Houston, he has as many 40pt games already this season as all of last season, last year without Yao he was averaging 30PPG on 45% shooting, etc...
and how many wins did we have last year at this time compared to now? is our record better or worse...? you do the math stats man. i get this from watching every game we have played down to the last agonizing second... it doesn't matter what his numbers are if we are not winning does it?
It's a team struggle. That guy is right...T-mac is putting up good numbers We have a new coach and we're still adjusting Tracy is play pretty dam good this season
this is still a new team...I will give the rockets another 20 games before I make judgement on who to trade... give them a little more time...
tmac's time is up.....waiting around to see what happens would be foolish....................................make a trade now why we still have a chance to make the playoffs.
It will be interesting to see what the Rockets do if they're still outside the bubble when the trade deadline arrives.
I have been wanting to trade tmac for a couple of years now. He is one of the sickest players in the nba, but he is not a winner and never will be and the older he gets the less he will care. Please can we trade tmac now before it is too late and we are stuck wasting the next few years.
What realisitc trade out there could really help this team? I don't know of one. it's either a bad trade, an impossible trade, or a lateral trade. So what's the point? Why not concentrate on the OBVIOUS problem of our bench? It was supposed to be a strong bench coming into the year, where are they now?
If T-Mc doesn't help us to a championship now, he will when his contract runs out. With $22M+ we can afford a top-flight free agent.
Bring in Troy Murphy. Poor shooting from PG won't be such a problem then with three other players who can hit it from long range. James+Snyder+Hayes = Murphy
Tracy goes to bed in May and sets his alarm clock for the All-Star break. He won't be playing real b-ball until then.
He'll be hit by the Houston curse. James is supposed to be a shooter, as is Novak, Head, and Battier. We see how that's turned out so far. I, however think, that giving up those three is a bit much for Troy Murphy. Although, there is not much bargaining with how their play has been so far.
When t-mac's contract ends, will we be able to offer a max contract to a free agent? Who will be available when t-mac expires?
T-Mac is unselfish unless he's playing selfish. T-Mac is a team player unless he's a cancer. T-Mac wants to win unless he's quitting. T-Mac is the team leader unless he says the leader is someone else. T-Mac is feeling fine unless he's bothered by nagging injuries.
I found myself messing around with that ESPN NBA player trader game to see what trade the Rockets could do with TMac............ I did this trade......... TMAC and Rafer to the NETS for J. Kidd and Boki Nachbar........ It said the trade was successful......What do you think?.?.?
Yes, 20 million comes off the payroll but we won't be 20 million under the cap though (and that's what counts in free agent signing, isn't it? Disregard this post if I am wrong). So we won't be able to just sign anybody. If we're at the luxury tax (67 million) and the cap is 55(?) million, Tracy's contract expiring will allow us to sign a player for only about 8 million a year. It would have to be a sign and trade or we would have to trade him in his last year.
